Description
Nozaki Haruka's family moves to a small town following her father's new job. Unfortunately, Haruka becomes a target of bullying in the new school, which is set to close in a few months due to the lack of students. As a strong girl, who doesn't want to worry her parent, Haruka tries to ignore the bullies, but the case is steadily growing out of proportion. And since the teachers are not willing to deal with bullying during the final school months, nothing is stopping an appalling tragedy that is looming over Haruka.

And you thought "Vitamin" had it bad...

I'm no stranger to bullying/horror manga, but when I started Hepatica... I had no idea what I was in for. The art style is perfect given the genre; the illustrations can haunt you to the core. I loved the uniqueness of the story and the fact that everything was a 'worst-case scenerio'. This manga is unforgettable; a complete work of art.

This story is so dark and twisted, but I still like it (cause of the mentally unstable people)
I don't recommend this manga for people with a weak heart, because of the horror and gore throughout the manga.

I felt so bad for her when those stupid brats burned her house down, along with her family. But then when she finds that guy that she thinks is a love interest I went all like 'omg yes, find happiness!!' <-- That all melted away when I found out he was a male yandere lol I had mixed feelings. One side of me was like 'HOT MALE YANDERE <3' and the other side went all like 'god this is not gonna end well'

Can be a run-of-the-mill story

but the author found it in himself to make you invested in the world and it's inhabitants before throwing deep shit up your face. It has just the perfect amount of gore to disgust you without making you feel like stopping your journey in the book.

A schlocky thriller that buries how absurd it is with a decent amount of pathos, although it does really break loose at the end.. A fun ride and Oshikiri has a distinctively creepy art-style.

You must be something to read this. I've skimmed the first volume and I must tell that it's too sad and tragic for me to stand although I was tempted with the style of the author and the previous commentary. You are just warned.

Story of a Beautiful Flower in Hell

This manga is daaaaaarrrrk! It's hard to stay indifferent while reading the story. You can hate it for the run-of-the-mill plot, predictable outcome, unnecessary gore, and lack of novelity. However, what makes the manga stand out is the soul-crushing narration. The author did a splendid job in writing a tragedy story. Starting from the last page of chapter 1 to the last page of volume 3 I felt like crying.

If you like Bokurano or Deep Love series, give this manga a try. You won't regret it.
