The art is fabulous with a wide variety of beautifully drawn physiques ranging from the adorable to the buff and muscled. Stories were okay (not surprising with this genre) but it seemed that the mangaka really made an effort to come up with a variety of stories/settings.

I believe the mangaka took a brave risk here. She starts off with very hesitant, feminine, petite bishies and confident gorgeous, clean shaven, lean semes. As the series of 9 one-shots progress, she increases the muscles mass, the body hair and shakes with increasing gyrations the typical uke/seme characteristics bag.
Chouno-Sensei did mention in one of her author comment pages that she wanted to share the less common type of art (let's say an extremely gentle version of Bara). She readily acknowledges that she knows her style changes at the mid-point dramatically and hopes the reader will at least try out the second half of the collection.
It was a risk because people that would be drawn in to pick up the manga from the cover, would be surprised by the second half and potentially dislike it greatly. I think it was awesome of her because it exposes people to a potential art form that they may learn that they love!
Personally, I found that the majority of the stories themselves lacked in 'connection' with my sensibilities. The dialogue and plot were too shallow and not comprehensive enough for me. I'm a person who doesn't like typical PWP pron. I like to feel for the characters deeply before I read the holy-crap-that's-hot scenes. (And I do love those scenes whether they are filled with angst or tenderness, but only after I care about the characters.)
As far as her artwork, I think her talent lies in the first three stories. The third story was the noteworthy one. The Bird Sings was detailed with elegant lines and beautiful backgrounds and facial expressions. The poses were stunning. There is one box that only has two sets of hands in it, no words, and it blew me away with emotion.
She describes her motivation at the end for each story. I like that a lot. It was insightful and surprising.
Story List - 1: Kiss of Fire (He learns mixology with a sex payment for each drink.); 2: Fake Fur (Two zoo employees and one has a panda fetish.); 3: The Bird Sings (A fairy tale of a devoted love between a prince and his bird.); 4: Blue Moon (A boy breaks up with his lover and a kind-hearted stranger changes his definition of what his wish for happiness on the blue moon will be.) 5 & 6: Sweet Holic and Love Holic (Revolves around a sweet shop and a reticent love that can't help but form on the (very muscular) uke's part.); 7: Vestage (A son does what his mother did not: He claims a man from many years ago, only in a very aggressive way.); 8: Wayward Priest (A tragedy revolving around a past belonging to a priest and a vampire. One that I didn't really understand, but felt that it had the most potential after the Bird one.); 9: Overwork (A story of two karate fighters who have grown up and eventually realize what it is they are truly fighting for.)

The author said she wants to make a feast of different body shapes in yaoi genre. From softcore to hardcore. The concept was interesting so I tried... But her noble intentions was only all talk.
1th story: see 12-years old girl with a dick; seme playful-handsome but arrogant. 2nd story: uke slightly more interesting but he still looks like a little kid; seme handsome-but-freaky. 3rd story: girly-kiddo-uke and seme handsome&nice. 4th story: beautiful uke; average looking plain-face seme... but at least he was nice one. liked. 5th story: MUSCLES. seme's face more pretty than uke's face. Where is a stage between?! 6th story: the previous pair again. 7th story: kinda liked seme/uke configuration (it was tricky in a good way) 8th story: fat-muscula- priest-uke meets fat-muscular-vampire-seme? wtf. 9th story: fat&muscles.
Not tasty dinner.

I applaud this mangaka of compiling such a unique volume. There's a bit of every kind of yaoi physique here. Although, the art was so-so and the stories kinda bland. These were very quick and under-developed oneshots.

the stories start out pretty good, but in my opinion they steadily get worse. arts good, except Chouno seems to lose her abilities in art with muscular men. she makes them over muscular in my opinion. it was a huge disappointment for me...
