I don't think Rika is brave, but rather shameless in a good way. I like that. That's young naive love for ya.

The story is quite realistic which makes it an amazing story. I was aching for the characters and I felt like I could relate to what they were going through. I loved the story telling. Especially one part where she asks: why do you like her despite ___ And he answered how would he know. Sometimes you just like a person and can't explain it.

Read this if you don't mind a slow romance. Highly recommend. I was hesitant to read it at first, but I am glad it!

and simple , wasnt really intresting and it kinda pissed me off the love story althought i did love the heroines best friend and he boyfriend was very nice, they were cute together

good story but the main characters a bitch. i mean, i know its a natural reaction in real life, but cmon. 2-3 months into knowing him(well, basically she knows nothing about him) and then wham, im in love, im in the first year of hs and his in third year, and the chick he likes is in this awesome uni, SO I'LL JOIN IT TOO! ...honestly i wish she just gave up already. but, many people are worse bitches in real life, but shes a bitchy idiot. haha.

I couldn't put it down. I read both volumes in three hours. It was a great story of first love. The characters were put together nicely and i loved how she wasn't the typical shoujo herione. She was bold and followed through with what she wanted. She was whiney at times but when necessary. I liked the relationship between Mino and Rika even though they weren't together. I liked the ending as well, alot of people said they didn't like it and didn't expect it, but i think that's why i liked it so much. It was what i would have expected. Two thumbs for anyone whos looking for a good coming of age love story.

Umm... I was thinking of a different ending, it was... not what I was expecting. Read this manga( it has a good pace, intersting story and characters), but pay special attetion to key moments between Mino and Rika- the girl is more cunning than she looks.

the art is nice, characterisation as well. there was no character that annoyed me in any way. the female lead was a little bold, but not too pushy, a little whiny but as well, not too much. i liked her friend the best out of the cast.

the premise of unrequited love was executed well, but sadly not followed to the very end.



the best thing about the end is probably the 4-koma epilogue

I dropped it because it just got tiring. I'll give it points for good art and great character developement though. It's just a personal thing (I don't like love triangles and all these entangled, deep complicated feelings and all this drama). It's just so slow!!! That's what makes it kind of typical and boring. Still, shoujo-lovers should like this since it IS pretty realistic (the unreciprocated love).

I really liked this manga. It has the same plot as every other shoujo.. unrequited love, but somehow this captured me and made my heart mellttt. haha it's really cute and i really admire the girl for her bravery. READ IT!

Unique in that it's mostly about the disapointment and unjust resentment of unrequieted love, which actually makes the fairly generic characters a strength; this is the standard shoujo cast out of their element. The ending is a bit of a cop-out.

I LOVE THIS MANGA! I love the whole concept and the execution of this manga, it takes a very real and likely concept and opens it up with beautiful art and well written scenes. The lead is also really rather lovely shes not moany or winy she genuinely whats the guy she loves to be happy and that takes real courage! the art is also really pretty (to me any way) and I can't wait for the next chapter!
