the reviews with people saying it's a rip off version of GTO has NO CLUE of this manhwa's plot. it's only beginning that seems like it's GTO rip off but once you pass that point you'll realize just how much different this manhwa is compare to GTO manga.

Pretty good series it has good art and action at least from what I've seen in the raws. Oh and it's nothing like GTO nor does it try to become like it, don't let the first few chapters mislead you because it goes to a whole different direction.
Another thing the main character the teacher acts more like Ryo Saeba from City Hunter/Angel Heart hell he even looks like him.

This is quite the tragedy. Shi Woon is violently bullied every day at school. And when he finally gets the strength to retaliate, he isn't allowed to, since it'd kill the delinquents.
By the way, the main protagonist isn't the teacher but the student Shi Woon, who is pretty pathetic and pitiful at the beginning and becomes Shounen-like a master-disciple of his infamous teacher.
I like this manhwa and wouldn't mind it becoming as long-running as GTO. But it doesn't have much in common with that manga. The teacher, Chun Woon, has no urge to teach his class anything. He just wants to get his job done and flirt with his sweetheart. "Solve your problems on your own" could be his motto.

this manga's a rare gem.... it has it all, good comedy, a good plot, good drama, good characters, good art, good action.....i can see this manga developing into one of my favorites
i'd say this is a must read.....seriously, read it
btw....this has VERY little in common with GTO, so don't be fooled

As everyone noticed, the begining of this series is a GTO ripoff. Well, why not, some remakes are better than the original. But not this one. Everything feels industrial, every choice seems to be the result of a market research, e.g. the hero is a "cool" guy, with a mysterious motive, and its stupidness and pervertness is fake. If you're looking for a good comedy, try elsewhere.
The story seemed so lame to me that I tried to switch off my brain in order to enjoy the manhwa. But the fights scenes are sometimes ridiculous and the drawings don't make you feel any motion. The only good point is the static drawing of characters, especially big breasts girls. It won't be enough to make me read more than the first volume.

yeh i can definitely see strong similarities between this and GTO in the first few chapters however, it does have a different underlying plot and i am looking forward to finding out the truth behind Chun-woo's identity. with that said, i really hope that soon enough, as is suggested in the summary here, Shin-woo grows a backbone otherwise i might lose interest.
*EDIT* 25/07/08 - just read chapter five, still some hope yet...it is a shounen afterall

at first i thought it's similar to GTO too.. pervert teacher that saves his student from suicide. but after reading chapter 3 i think it's not the same as GTO anymore since there's a hidden motive to why he became a teacher unlike onizuka who's ambition is to become a teacher.
overall i like the artwork, as for the storyline i can't comment much bout it coz it's not going anywhere yet but i have high hopes for it ^^ i'm sure it will be more interesting from now onwards

Can you say, Great Teacher Onizuka? Because this is pretty much GTO korean version. :/ Not that its bad, but I hope it deviates soon and show a unique story. I mean seriously... the first guy the teacher saves is bullied for money (note: gto's first kid is also bullied but by girls), is a weakling crybaby (just like GTO's Noboru), and attempts to end his life by jumping from the school, (again like GTO) and the teacher saves him by using the vice-principal's car as a semi-cushion (GTO to a tee)... >_>; Only difference so far is that the main teacher seems like a player and not the 22 year old single Onizuka.
