The first one or two oneshots in this manga were only average.
That includes the title story. It's not bad or anything, it's just not that special.
The later stories however, have anything I look for in boys love... likable characters, great art, sexy men, smut scenes, funny moments, drama moments and an entertaining plot.
Some of the characters, like the uke in the 3rd story, are such amazing characters, I'd LOVE to read a whole long serious just about them!
I'd really recommend this to anyone looking for some smutty, cute and romantic happy-end stuff.

I dropped this after two stories. The art was okay, but the short stories just left me empty and bored, waiting for 'em to finish. Being bored while reading a ONE VOLUME manga is a bad sign.

I've read rather many yaoi mangas, and this one ain't good. Read something else, even if you're only looking for the hot stuff.

Having proofread this whole volume of work, I would sincerely like to say that I really enjoyed it but I'd be lying. Dokusenyoku isn't bad, but it just isn't all that good either. Hyuuga Seiryou just seems to be ... adequate. I honestly can't say that she is good, bad or otherwise. I like this mangaka, but not enough to wait with bated breath for the next release of her work. I'd have to say her doujinshi have a lot more going for them than her original releases.

I think previous commentators have both been rather liberal with their opinions.
Firstly, if you want realistic stories, you are barking up the wrong tree. No, you're probably barking up a cardboard cutout of a tree. All yaoi is unrealistic.
Secondly, to give this series such a great wrap is kind of insulting to series' that actually deserve it. I certainly don't think Dokusenyoku is bad, but it's not worth anything upwards of 7 out of 10.

I totally disagree with the previous reviewer. I really enjoyed it. The art work was lovely, and the oneshots where all interesting. This is the first work of Seiryou-sensei I read and I look forward to reading more of her work ^^.

If your in a mood to just pass time and for a light read(as in depth and long plot) I would recamend this.

Boring and annoying

This manga contains a series of stories all but one of which contain misrepresented rape. The 'I love you so I can do as I want with you without consent' fallacy is liberally used.
The realism is pretty much not existent and the characterisation and story are very poor.
I don't think this was worth the paper it was printed on.
