Haha this is so bad. I mean, the first story is somewhat worth reading because it had potential, but it's so confusing. You get bits from the present and the past and we don't hear much background information so it's really hard to understand what is going on. The second story is just bad. Nuff said.
Not worth reading really

Well I don't know if i'm just being stupid or something, but this whole manga confused me. The characters' actions didn't make sense, and their feelings were so inconsitent.
I liked the sound of the first story (the one in the description) but it didn't go into much detail and just seemed very rushed. I sort of understood Kokuei's actions, and the sex scene was pretty good - this was the best part of it for me. Since the story was so rushed the "love" didn't seem very believable in the end... shame really.
The second story annoys me... Midori's opinions and feelings towards Akashi change so suddenly, and their whole relationship just seems pointless, I didn't see any real love between them. Plus the whole thing in the club aggrevated me. I think Midori had the right to be pissed and want answers, but after just a few panels he changes his tune completely. So stupid.
(Also, the story mentioned in the description should really be considered a side-story or sequel to the second one as it takes place afterwards. I hope this will clear any misunderstandings)
I had high hopes for this manga, but was sorely disappointed. Give it a try if you want, but if you don't then you're really not missing much.

I disagree with the previous reviewers.
The first story was supposed tp be good, but there were so many problems that it kind of ruined it.
First of all, it's difficult to follow the order of events and, hadn't I read the description here, I wouldn't understand it. Even having read it, it's still very confusing to know how Ayamoji and Kintarou met again. Why? If Ayamoji repeated grades to get away from Kintarou, why did he went to find him again? And if he wanted revenge, why wait so long? It doesn't make sense.
While the sex scene in the first story is really, really sexy, there were disappointing issues that came along the story. What disappointed me the most was how much potential this story had and the fact that it didn't use it. Their relationship was clearly a love/hate one, and yet the author doesn't explore it at all, and the solution comes very simply.
Though Kintarou's feelings were more believable than Ayamoji's, even he should've struggled a little. It seemed rushed and when they met again as adults, it was even worse. They hadn't seen each other for five years and then suddenly it was all okay? They didn't even talk. The problem with this was that it frustrated me a lot, because it didn't use its potential.
The second - and main - story doesn't even give me reason to comment. It's exactly as everything else seen before. Cliché, not innovative at all and totally common yaoi. It's not that it's bad, but it isn't any good either. The only reason for its existence seems to be to explain the first story, otherwise it would be totally pointless. Then again, it seems out of order, being the first story Ayamoji and Kintarou's. It should be after the main story, not its introduction.
Over all, I think Gou-sensei totally got it wrong. Instead of focusing on the interesting story, she made it real quick and turned the reader's eye to a story so "yeah, right" it's even boring.

LovelyLynx says it pretty well. The first story -the one in the description - is not nearly as interesting as those that followed though related it isn't the main story nor is it particularly strong, it felt rushed and a bit on the shallow side. It might have worked ok as an extra or side story, but as an introduction is didn't work well. That aside, the following stories were interconnected and good, enjoyed those quite a bit, but this isnt the most interesting manga around nor the most original, but still worth a read if you've got some time.

So the first story that was in the description was pretty bad. Didn't explain much and was really fast. I was tempted to stop reading there. I continued and the second story is a bit better. Not a must read, but still better than the beggining.
