Description
During a flashback, an interviewer inquires Kuzumi Taiga, a prospective student for Seinagi Private High School, on what he would do if he could use magic, during his entrance interview. He replies, "take over the world", with an outburst of laughter, from an attractive girl, following his answer.
After the entrance exam, the school rejects his application; although he recalls almost nothing after this event, he does recall the girl, and believes the cause of his school of choice rejecting his application involves her.
Wandering around outside of the school the next day, Kuzumi tries to enter, but an invisible barrier blocks him. A teacher, Mr. Hiiragi, confuses Kuzumi for a student of the school ditching class and pulls Kuzumi into the school through the barrier.
Seinagi Private High School is actually a magic school and Mr. Hiiragi has just accidentally pulled Kuzumi, a teenager with no magical skill, through the barrier into this school.

Amazing manga.

Easily one of the greatest manga to ever get axed. I don't know whose idea it was for this to stop, but that person should feel bad. Especially when it was coming close to something huge. So far I'm liking the mangaka's new manga, but I really wish he would somehow continue this.

Second - no wait, third try

The characters turned out to be different than I first thought, and more likeable. The plot turned out to be less important than I believed, but the characters and the art made up for it.
The romance was also really sweet.

But still: It's no masterpiece and I'll never claim it is one, but Mx0 is nevertheless a good manga. It's not deep, but I never even expected it to be. It's just a really enjoyable read with its own sweet and moments.

Although the ending was rushed, the manga is worth reading
thanks to captivating plot!!
Even reading it second time, even knowing what's going
to happen further, it still keeps my interest a lot!!

Great manga

This one of few manga that I seriously loved. The characters were entertaining, the story was good, and the concept of magic in the manga was very intriguing to me. The art wasn't necessarily the best, but it suited the manga. When I found out this manga got cancelled I was extremely upset over the lost potential, but this manga was still by far one of my favorites, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good read, and won't mind the unfulfilling ending.

The Ending Wasn't THAT Bad

Don't let the comments about the ending stop you from reading this manga. The ending was lacking compared to the rest of the manga but all in all it wasn't that bad. The only biggie is that the latter half of the plot does foreshadow some major hurdles but the ending (probably due to the manga being axed) really left a lot of the potential conflicts hanging.

The rest of the manga was great though. It had a light and comical plot with a good protagonist. The only other problem I had was that about half way through the manga (chapter 53) there was a great opportunity to do something special with the plot but it wasn't developed.

Oh. And there isn't any hardcore ecchi at all, just a little fan service here and there.

Mx0 FOREVER

Mx0 is a shounen where the protagonist is in a magic school...with no magic! He gets by with his wits and its just great watching him get out of the most difficult situations.

We know it got axed, but there is a reason why this manga got over 1800 reviews (almost all in the 8,9,10 range). It is still a great manga =D. Check it out!

This is such an amazing manga I about sobbed because it got chopped. ;_; It's worth the read, though. It just sucks you in, and unlike a lot of other shounen out there, the protagonist is downright smart. He's strong, but it's about him learning to get along by using his head instead of his muscles, and that was great.

The rushed ending was... well, it was rushed. Isn't much else to say about that. We were in the middle of all this awesome tension building... and then yeah. In spite of that, though, I still recommend reading it. The 90 chapters of amazing are worth it.

using pure mental prowess to win is such a great take in shounen manga (which is populated by brawnish no brain guys) that i fall in love with this immediately. im so so sad its axed prematurely, but its greatness will stay in my retina for ever!

Another amazing series killed before its time

Likable characters, an interesting story, and great art made for an amazing and fun to follow series. However, like many other great stories, this one was cancelled just as a brand new and interesting arc was starting. Also it doesn't help when Kano-sensei finds it impossible to make a rushed-yet-fulfilling ending.

The ending...

Sucked badly, obviously the author was forced to stop since nothing was solved in the end
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
he didn't get a full black plate, third years and their teacher seemed to be interesting but never came through, and there was no romance in the end.

It's too bad because this manga was awesome, especially the main character (the main girl was boring though but it doesn't matter) which had no power whatsoever but only brains and the plot was good. Would it have continued, I'd rate it 9.5 at least, but the ending sucked too much. I can't get over it, I was too annoyed.

So it's an 8 instead, but it's still definitely worth a read
