First, the art is awesome. Not because it's beautiful, but because you can feel the emotions and see the emotions in the characters. I love that about it.
The translation is bangin', seriously. It was pretty freaking close to actual English, and that is a RARE thing in manga. Also, the spelling and grammar were so amazing they made me swoon just a little.
The story isn't new, and the concept isn't new, but the characters ROCK. I LOVE the main kid, and the teacher is funny as well. Their personalities are...not similar, but it works. Usually in manga the opposites-attract thing is trite - this is not. This is awesome. I want to know more about them, especially the main kid, Shuu.
Normally I don't like student/teacher, but this was hilarious, and it was oddly deep. I definitely would love to read more if the author ever continues (not likely, but still). One of my favorites even though it's incomplete.
One thing I love is there aren't a lot of manga cliches - no one's hitting anyone on the head, no one's freaking out and yelling at EVERYTHING (I hate that with a passion), and the main guy is actually mature and not stupid.
Dammit i want more xD I hate it when a good series goes on hiatus like this. After 3 years i wouldn't get my hopes up for it to continue though =/ so depressing cause it was really looking like it'd turn into a great story. The sensei is evil xD and usually with high school romance its the student seducing the sensei so thats nice. I also love the four brothers, they're all so cute in their own ways ^^
I really liked this story! It made me so angry at all the people that were mean to them! I love how Shuu-nii takes care of the brothers and acts so differently around them then at school where he is the top cool, handsome, and mature student- at least around everyone except the pushy kayaba kyousuke, his young and good looking homeroom teacher who just breaks his cool stature. It said it was completed with 2 chapters but... it doesn't seem right, because shuu's crazylife with sensei was just getting started, and left us with a sorta cliffhanger at that! Hopefully there's more I even remembered all their names, I never do. That's how much I like this manga!
Omg, I can't believe the first volume just left off right there! The best thing about this manga is that even though the story has its clichés, it still feels fresh and interesting with a bunch of lovable characters. My favorite parts are actually the ones dealing with the twin brothers; I have a thing for brothercest (especially twincest), so I've completely fallen in love with their story. Not to mention things were just about to get interesting between the main couple as well. Oh please let there be a volume 2 ;____;
This review/comment is based on the first 3 chapters thus far scanlated by Bliss before dropping it.
Oh yes, what's with the hype below me? I glance at the artwork and I thought the art is pretty average to me. Anyway, I started reading chapter 1. Hmm, it also seems average. Anyway, I continue reading. In the middle of chapter 2, the story gotten it's way into me and before I can stop myself, I grabbed chapter 3. So that's how this manga works its way on me. Recommended.
I find myself re-reading the only scanlated chapters because It's THAT good. And it's only three chapters in!
Love the art and so far the characters have debth, unlike some characters that I seem to never click with. Like I said, i've only read three chapters! >_<
If you're going to give a try, I strongly warn you, you'll be left yearning for more after the first three chapters and sadly no updates have been made. =(
The story of the pitiful uke who finds love is nothing new, but THIS version is awesome! The pace is slow (just how I like it), the art is very nice and the characters are very likeable. I'm dying to see the relationships develop.
I don't understand all the good reviews at all. This is written ok, the art is just average, but the story is lame and cliche. Teacher is in "love" at first sight with a student? It was just so forced and did not have a realistic vibe at all, nor was it terribly funny(I don't mind if something is a bit ridiculous if it's funny). What am I missing here?
