Description
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, when Mongolia ruled over all the Chinese Continent, the Mongols, the Hans, and Koryo (ancient Korea) migrants were engaged in racial conflict. The son of a Koryo migrant, Jin Ha, and the daughter of a Mongol general, Seol Li, become friends and eventually fall in love. However, when Seol Li's mother dies of a chronic disease, her merciless father Taruga takes her to So Heung with him. She promises to wait for Jin Ha at a pagoda in So Heung on the day of every full moon. But against their will, they become swept up in the current of these tragic times...

seriously, you put everything out and hid nothing important to the plot under spoiler.... wrong -_-

anyway have not finished the manga, but the movie is definitely one of my favorites ^_^

Ups... apparently I've been criticized for putting everything on spoiler tag hahahha but really, the title says it all. It's super sad so read with caution as it's about star-crossed lover

It could potentially be spoiler but this story is super sad. It's like the Asian version of Romeo-Juliet except that this takes place when they're more mature so there's no child-like, pure, innocent love like in Romeo and Juliet. The story is the what-if Juliet is still alive and married another guy. Having said that, this is a really good story that makes you grind your teeth because of the tangled fates of the characters.
