im not quite sure why it is so important why she was a prima ballerina and also they never really tell you why she stopped. i guess im gonna asume she just decided to stop one day. -____- but why stop if you love it so much confused ? idk the lead male is great and so are all the follow up characters they are all very amusing and fun to read about. i really admired the lead girls determination and perseverance it made me feel closer to her and like her more as a character. the small twists are great. the art was well drawn on a scale of 1-10 the art was like a 8 the art is certainly better then most tons of others i have seen. she focuses a lot on the eyes and hair which are both really hard to draw but she masters it so thats good all the work that she puts into the eyes makes you feel like you can really feel their emotions. from the summery it dosent sound like much in fact i only read it cuz i love rivalry's but there is a lot more to the story and it really is a great story i think it could have been longer and i would have loved it but the ending was still satisfying and not to short. i enjoyed every second of read this.its worth the read. i also

I'm not a fan of Kyousuke Motomi's because of her artwork. I'm actually not too fond of her art at times. However, her stories are great - and this one's no exception. The heroine's personality would be grating if it weren't for the fact that she's so hilarious. And the hero would probably be considered a domestic abuser if not for the fact that it's so much fun to watch him beat the hell out of her. That makes it sound like the pairing here is violent and obnoxious, and in their own way, they are - but they're also charming and insanely likable. Overall, the story manages to mix humor and romance brilliantly and is definitely getting added to my "re-readable" list.

HAHA! Another good story here! The story is so funny and cute!
The lead female character is strong as always for most of motomi's work.
Its very cute and gives you a very happy lovey-dovey feeling! smile
Cos the guy is shy too!!! xD
Def. worth reading!

I'm a big fan of Motomi-sensei after reading Beast Master. So I'll be (a bit) biased. Purikyuu is seriously hilarious and I can't help but laughing out loud even when I'm reading it at work. The expression on the team's face after Jinnai "brainwashed" them to become lions almost made me fall off of my chair. Short and sweet. Plus a good laugh too.

It's cute and sweet, sometimes is really hilarious. Character development is good, sport also is an interesting role in story. It's really good for 1 vol manga.

I had to give this A LOT of points for one part in the series. In Chapter 3, page 28, was hilarious. It was funny to me because I haven't seen anyone did that for a while.

Probably the best part of Purikyu is the personal growth of the main character, Katsuragi Anna, who develops from an immature and arrogant ex-primadonna to someone who learns to appreciate life, the people around her and rediscover the fun and true meaning of sport. You might have started off disliking her attitude, but by the end of the final chapter, you've been completely charmed through and through by her determination to do her very best. There isn't much to say about Jinnai as a standalone male character, but he provides great support to Anna's character, and they make a sweet couple without being overly sugary.

The art isn't horrible, but it's not the best either. I'm not a fan of Motomi's style and was initially put off reading this because of it, but it's not a problem once you get used to it. I didn't think I would enjoy this one and I wasn't sure I wanted to continue after Chapter 2, but now I'm glad I picked it up where I left off and finished it. Recommended for those looking for a short and satisfying read.

I find myself loving more and more Motomy-sensei's works. This manga is so funny and even though it's not one of the most original it just makes me feel so lighthearted, it's really great.

at first i didn't really want to read it but.. i found that i didn't have to force myself as i read the first few pages. it was pretty good. i'm not too into characters being full of themselves... especially females (bad experiences, bad people) but... i really did enjoy this manga. =)
