There isn't any ecchi involving the protagonist per se although there was an individual who tried to seduce her (and failed). What emkat's review said about explicit content and "goes beyond just ecchi" is simply due to the story setting of working in the AV industry, and not because this is an ecchi/hentai manga.

I didn't like the art, especially the facial features but the premise seemed intriguing enough and so I finished all 5 volumes to see how she deals with it and if I would learn anything new.

Now, are the behind-the-scenes AV workings in this manga true? Without giving away any spoilers: what Rinko mixes is sometimes utilised; sponges are really used in that manner (commonly makeup sponges) and occasionally be difficult to locate after.

It struck me that the mangaka had certainly done his homework when I read that small panel where Sawakura mentions briefly his preference for hotter candles (with higher melting points) during an interview.

However, read it still with a pinch of salt as I have my doubts about that inflatable pool scene (specifically the ingestion, not the kink itself). Sure, some folks may be into that but the health issues resulting from consumption makes it highly implausible.

It's strange, characters are interesting so far, but it is very explicit. It goes beyond just ecchi despite what the tags say. The main character is completely clueless which would add to a few laughs. Just be aware that there is explicit content.

This is really good. It's funny, the characters are lovable and the plot flows nicely.
It's the kind of manga that you want to keep following!
Don't let the ecchi or adult theme throw you off! This is really unique and refreshing!

This series is crystal clear about its theme. It is not outright hentai but YES you will see scenarios depicting the wacky things porn usually feature, so be prepared to be grossed out if you haven't seen / can't stomach common Japanese sexual fetishes.

Warnings aside, the first chapter was a fantastic introduction; I ended up liking the heroine and her simple personality. We see a smartypants feminist-attitude top of its class type girl thrust into a situation out of her element. There's no sudden molesting, no rape, no cliche about a damsel in distress (funny since this is shoujo) -- the people and scenarios are realistic and it is plain and simply a story about her and how she handles herself.

The first chapter was sort of hilarious at some parts and I was left saying "next chapter please!"
I'm not dying to know what happens next or anything, but I'll be tracking this series.
