Onani means masturbation. And that's what this guy is good at. Every day after school, he sneaks into the mostly unused girls bathroom on the 3rd floor, and masturbates. Until one day, when he's caught by a bullied girl with a hidden agenda. This is a story of mistakes, redemption, and the choices made in between. It contains the worst and best of the human condition.

My subject says it all to this manga. I had my doubts about it at first, however as i progressed through the story I was completely drawn in. However, it left a lot of unanswered questions at the end, but that's what makes this manga so great! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great short read.
What do u expect....
....from a manga? - Personally, I look for good story. OMK got it. The drawing maybe abit strange, but why not? - Maybe it not suitable for some people with their certain standards, I would believe most people can't drop this one once they pick it up. - Why? Please read it and answer that yourself. Some strange feelings may stay within you the minute you finished it.
Personal comment: I like this. Made me feel, think, rolling....
It is fantastic! So wonderful... I am not even able to put into words how great it is, all I can say, read it! Don't stop just because of the masturbation scenes, read it to the end, it is all there for a purpose!
This manga is the shit! i mean it, ignoring the title(yeah there is masturbation in it), this manga makes you see that anyone can change from bad to good and gives you a moral lesson! Its ending surprised me but was so good! RECOMENDED!
This is the most well-written manga I have ever read. The premise/summary might turn you away, but if it does, then you are missing out on a masterpiece.
This 4 volume manga is incredibly intense, and the story-telling is unbelievable. The buildup from the first 2 volumes explodes into all out chaos in the 3rd, and the 4th volume provides one of the most satisfying and well-written endings you will ever come across. If I had one complaint, it would be the lack of other titles by this author, because this level of story-telling is one that I have yet to see in other mangas.
The character evolution is mind-boggling, and the first person narrative really puts you into the mind of the male lead. As the description says, this manga truly shows the worst and best of the human condition. Instead of resorting to cheap acts and exaggerations to illustrate human cruelty, the author cleverly shows the cruel effect daily situational occurrences can have on the main characters. Although the story is at times soul-crushing, it is eventually able to lift the characters out of their seemingly endless spiral, and the ending could not be more heart-warming. That, in my opinion, is the best part of this awesome manga.
The art is not perfect, the premise is a turn off, but give it a chance and you will be surprised. Onani Master Kurosawa is an unbelievable story of weakness, strength and redemption that will make you think, feel and ultimately smile.
I can't believe it
Good Lord. I thought there was seriously something wrong with me to start reading this manga xD But it really was incredible! The masturbation tends toward being more of a plot device than anything else, and for something with a title like this, it's got very little to no hentai (although what is there is a little disturbing.. well, I'm a girl I guess), and... it's got a really good story. The protagonist does some serious growing up throughout. There aren't even any lame penis jokes.
Altogether, this manga took a dashedly awkward subject and turned it into a touching story about growing up. Just goes to show what good storytelling can do. I recommend it.
beautiful story, excellent story-telling
the story is great, brilliant, actually. it's very... emotional and contemplative. you really come to feel for the characters, and identify with them. the art isn't great, in the usual manga sense, since it's very much like a pencil sketch, but the art still has its own appeal, and the scenes the artist draws are totally apt, and convey the story beautifully. the character designs aren't too shabby, in fact i like a lot of them, though they're a little odd for a couple of characters, but that's the point. though the premise may seem bizarre, you have to read this for the compelling story. i would love to read more by this author.

This is my new standard
Read it. If you need to remember any part of this comment, it should just be that first sentence.
From start to finish, as well as the light novel omake, this was the most engaging and satisfying manga that I have read in a long time. In only 31 chapters you feel disgusted at Kurosawa's "duty," laugh at Nagaoka's antics, inquire about Kitahara, feel relaxed with Takagawa's presence, cry at the plot twist, and feel totally heart-warmed at the end. There were times when my heart was beating so much that it hurt because of suspense and also because of sadness. No matter how twisted Kurosawa seems, you can't really bring yourself to hate him. He is very human, as well as (most) every other character introduced. A certain unexpected event in this manga had actually happened to me, and seeing Kurosawa deal with it makes me re-think what I should have done (not anything too drastic though, like he did...). There is a LOT of character development and multiple people find themselves in this manga. Once you read the entire thing, you really feel like you know every single character, and its a wonderful feeling. The art leaves a little to be desired, but the plot pacing and occasional anime references really kept me in.
A very good read
Like everyone else is saying don't let the synopsis or title drive you away. At first I was hesitant to read this but after reading some of the comments I went ahead with it. I must say it has one of the satisfying endings that I've come across recently. The art might take a little getting used to but it kind of suits the story and is definitely worth reading.
unexpected turn of events
whoa! i really didn't expect that the perverted facade of this manga would turn out to have a lot more sense than those shitty shoujo manga. GAWD! awesome. after i got my eyes clouded with restrained tears, i found myself smiling at the ending. believe me. and focus more on the psychological genre of the manga. it actually highlights it and not the damn masturbation stuff. I RECOMMEND you read it.
I thought I have become severely perverted when I opened this page. good thing I read the comments. It's worth reading. please get on reading you'll not regret it.
i owe it to the commenters! good thing i bothered reading. now I have another manga to remember and cherish the lessons i learned.
