Generally all of the stories were sweet... That is until chapter 5. Then, just for that one chapter, its all hell's loose. Spoiler (mouse over to view) So the uke gets to watch his father get killed by the person he trusts, he gets raped multiple times, and in the end, its told in all seriousness that the seme was doing everything to 'protect' him. And from what exactly? It falls short even in describing why exactly he had to murder the uke's family.. since the man's like "Oh, I donnu, Its not like I hate anyone..I just want to be emporer, but only now..." That left a reaaally sour taste in my mouth. Hence I gave it a 4/10 (four marks for four okay chapters, but the last baffled me so much, left such a rift in my previously glossy cheesy rosy glasses eyes that I couldn't recover).

is beautiful! I could look at it all day. The stories were a bit confusing though... And I still have no idea what happened in chapter 5/what its significance was. And for those who like good sexin', zees ees not ze place to find it. For the most part (except arguably for chap 5) everything sexual is suggested ... Last updated on August 16th, 2012, 3:48pm

I love every story presented here, the graphics are beautiful, the characters are lovable and draws you, the stories are given time to develop. My only regret is that I wanted to read more on to each couple's lives a little bit longer then what the manga has given, it's that interesting...that even after the plot has concluded, you're drawn to the characters now so much so that it piques your interest as to how their love stories have gone on...specially the last one, I love what the seme had said in the last panel; "To me, you are...the only miscalculation. The only one." how heart wrenching! <3

Loved this series, characters are likable for the most part plots are not boring, art is beautiful and a great translation job! The only reason this gets a 9 instead of a 10 is because it really leaves you wanting more, all the stories are concluded in a great way but this really could have a been a couple volume's series. It had all the right stuff to at least last a couple volumes and I'm sad it did not. Still a great read and I really think people should give it a try!

I actually really enjoyed this. The art is nice, the storylines are interesting and the characters (most of them at least) are likeable... The historical/fantasy setting was enjoyable too! The only problem I had was that I wished the stories were longer. Not that they were too abrupt, just that there could have been more! But that's just me being greedy... I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys even the more common yaoi tropes, there's lots of non-con and rather pretty ukes etc. It wasn't very original but good anyway...
