Kieli is absolutely my favorite light novel/series. It's humorous, serious, and it has that touch of romance sewn into it. Try to read the light novel first before the manga, that way you don't judge the novel off the manga (some people do.). I love Kieli and Harvey's relationship its very complicated and compatible at the same time. I highly recommend this light novel to anyone!

Oh my gosh, this is the best volume in the series, no not becuase it's the last one. Becuase everyones emotiontruly came out, and the heartbreak could really be felt (sounds dumb, I know.)
Another reason being...
I'm a little heartbroken that the series is finished, but so happy I had the chance to read it. Thank you Yukako Kabei.

Oh my gosh, this is the best volume in the series, no not becuase it's the last one. Becuase everyones emotiontruly came out, and the heartbreak could really be felt (sounds dumb, I know.)

The kiss! At first I was thinking it just wasn't going to happen. I mean their love for each other was convey'd with out it, not that I wasn't hopping for it. The first was very quick, I had to double read to make sure "Replacement for the chocolate", smooth talking Harvey. Then the second had more feeling and satisfaction... I pictuted Harvey's face with a little blush and a boyish grin afterwords, he is soooo cute!
The ending though got me good, very few series truly make me cry, and Kieli is one of them. Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean I felt that Harvey's "time" was coming, I mean the moment he was infected in his eye from the rust. But I think it was more than that, he was truly just tired.
His parting words to Keili tore me apart:
"Kieli, I'm glad I met you.
I'm glad I lived in this age.
And for this planet that let me meet you, let me live long enough to meet you. Everybody who ever protected you.
This whole planet.
I'm grateful for it now."
Those bieng his true final words, after that he became tired, like a child he really depended on Keili for the extra push he needed, and to keep his path steady.
