Description

Itadakimasu is really funny. I just love the chibis that Yoshihara Yuki draws; they're always hysterical. That being said, Itadakimasu got really repetitive really quickly. The girl's a pervert; the boy's an old man at heart. We get it. The other issue I have with it is the love seemed very one-sided. While Ouji does show some signs of genuinely loving Naeko, Naeko rarely (if ever) shows signs of loving Ouji for anything other than his hot young bod.
Despite my low rating for Itadakimasu, I'd still recommend it to people who're looking for a smutty rom-com read. Like I said before, this is super funny; it just has issues with being too long. So, read until you get bored.

 Older ladies' dream in a dirty comedy

Well, this is a typical tough older woman and beautiful younger man story.
If you are into that kind of thing then you might like it; as for me, I usually prefer a girly heroine and a strong and sexy man, but I enjoyed this manga enough.
The humor is funny at times, a bit awkward at others, like how often someone is beat bloody, or the cheerful but cheating ex-husband who is told again and again details of his 18 year old brother and his ex-wife... It has pretty perverted jokes as well (which are mostly rather funny).
I thought the characters were alright but like I said, I don't like a strong woman - weak man pair that much, but what bothers me the most is that there's not much love to be felt there.
The protagonists get together and all, but it just seems really cold and indifferent.
It can get a bit annoying that the woman, who is probably at least 10 years older, often acts way immature.
They fight a lot, there's plenty of yelling and all, so if you enjoy couples like that, it'll probably be a fun read for you.
Be prepared for a lot of comedy, rather shallow characters and no story progress what-so-ever.

PS: I love it when he gets his hair cut - he looks way too young for my taste with long hair!

Hmm...another typical work! I've read most of Yoshihara Yuki's works and believe me or not, most of her female characters are either horny, selfish and childish. I have to imply that to this manga as well! It's nothing extraordinary, just the two main protagonist chasing their love for each other. I expected very well, what would happened to the characters since, most of the characters in other stories, ended up the same as well. It's pretty blunt but you could give this a try if you want!

I'm not at ease with this type of character. She's so raffish ! (I've just learned a new word ! xD). Actually if you did not like the heroine of Aisuru Hito, you wont like this Naeko either ! As for myself I prefer strong girls with good fighting spirit but in the meanwhile cute and weak against the one they love. Here she's toooooo childish and the one she loves is merely a victim...

Speaking of the main boy, there's a very good development of his character (with the papy nickname and so on). And, as always with this author, the art is very nice.

LMAO I thought this series was really funny. I loved the story and the art wasn't bad either. I thought that it was sweet and that the characters were funny. My fave has to be Ouji; He's calm cool and collected. Though I found Naeko to be pretty cute, I also thought that she was irritating. Hey not that there's anything wrong with being perverted, but she takes her perversion to a little too far, and is really annoying with it.

But don't listen to me. See for yourself. Promise you'll like it :-p

To be honest I didn't like this much. I read it all, but by the second volume I was bored and just wanted it over with. The heroine is crude, immature and frequently an idiot. Eventually I got sick of the slapstick and the ugly chibi Naeko forcing herself on Ouji. Sure I know that a lot of people will enjoy the comedy, but I didn't, and I didn't think it meshed well with the serious relationship. I kind of felt like it was a good premise for a one-shot or maybe a one-volume work but it just got dragged out by repeating the same jokes, the same relationship difficulties. On the plus side, I do appreciate that Yoshihara Yuki has a very nice clean art style and Ouji was a pretty interesting character. But the whole thing to me felt quite transparent. I'm not a fan of Yoshihara Yuki from the other works I've read by her, her formula is so repetitive. So if you're not a fan and you're hoping this will change your mind, don't bother.

This series is complete and total crack. Nothing more, nothing less. I laughed so hard over and over again that it's just insane.

Despite there not being much character development at all, the comedy more than makes up for it. Yoshihara-sensei's sense of humor is just something else.

This one's such a lady fantasy! It really makes me want a young lover at the ripe age of 19. Ouji is just that much of a dish. He's a mature man in young man's husk, yet has an innocent side. It's really nice to enjoy one of these once in a while since not much smut is catered to girls and it totally acknowledges the fact that girls are just as perverted as boys.

I'm going to be reading more from this mangaka. Thanks..

This whole series was so sweet and so funny I was laughing the whole way through. I enjoyed how the author could make the characters look so cute and so ugly at the same time. I almost wished that it would have continued into their married life.
