Suprisingly enjoyable

I surprisingly found it enjoyable. The other commenters were rather harsh, but perhaps it could be just me.

The story is light-hearted but at the same time doesn't unnecessarily make one character be a loser (both emotionally and/or physically) and another ultimately a winner. The main character Vilof was aloof but smart, sharp and strong. His attendant, was interesting, helpful and humane. I was actually glad that he got to steal the spotlight at the end. He deserved it. I was also glad that Vilof was portrayed as a pretty good friend.

Execution however, leavers more to ask for. Almost every chapter had ridiculously annoying females that I really couldn't care less about. The ending "betrayal" was rather sloppily strung together. Despite all that, the very very end left something heart-warming and natural about the two men. If anything, I felt they should have hooked up with each other instead (LeL XD). But the friendship between them was very strong.

I suggest that people not dwell too much into the seimatics of how things could have played out the way they did i.e. how was the prince still a prince for so long considering that his father.....how did Pierre...what and where....and so on so forth.

Disappointing

Unlike the reviewer below, I didn't really hate any of the characters. What I'd problems with was that the main cast spent the entire time wandering around in every chapter. But little of their actions and the locations they travelled to, contributed anything to the ongoing story. That's right, it felt more like it wanted to be a light fantasy story based around slice of life. Yet often, the tone would shift to one of potentially dark fantasy cum mystery and action. I felt the writing often couldn't decide on the type of tone to maintain. Worse, it failed to combine both so the writing would slap in potential plot points and then throw them away before shifting into the other tone. Or if not, it'd conclude them disappointingly.

Furthermore, I didn't like the way the writer slapped in the plot twists 'cos they just appeared without almost any sort of foundation in the story. They felt forced and sudden. Plus, there was a ton of stuff being hinted at, without any resolution.

I hate the main character, whoever he may be...

I started the story out on a whim, just to read in my spare time. I kind of wish I hadn't....

Plot- Go find a sword so you can succeed, and be sure to meet a girl at every chapter! Vilof followed directions very well... to well... The girls at each chapter were kind of annoying, it was almost like a bunch of one shots connected only by two same characters, I didn't like the feel of it. The real plot of the story only came later and then I wasn't pleased by it. It was sudden and ended quickly, and I was left with a disgusted feeling by how it was resolved. Sure it was all right; a bit sweet too but... it just made me a bit angry...

Characters- The main character is ignored, yep, Vilof (I think the mangaka forgot he was the main...) is pretty much just going along while Pierre seems to get more of the spot light (at the end) I was kind of confused as to who the main character was.... in the end Vilof remained a static character and Pierre got all the good stuff while Vilof was pretty much forgotten... which was annoying since I liked Vilof and I wish he had been developed more! If Vilof was the main character I wish he wasn't forgotten, if Pierre was the main character I wish he would let Vilof be the main character. All the other character's (a.k.a. all the other girls) were just not developed enough to care about and they all ended up just being annoying!

Art- Not that great, some things were good but the characters were weirdly proportioned and it just wasn't the greatest.

Other- Don't read, it's not worth it. It just wasn't... good... at the end I just wanted to forget that I had ever read it.

3/10 - Not that good

The art is so Pretty being simple and clean to the eye !! XD the story well, as the noobzilla said, it hooks you in. Somehow in every chap there's a new girl to know. But not to spoil things..0.0 Hw about the characters? Well..The're certainly interesting but between the two main guys i sense some shounen-ai Lol. biggrin

Can't say too much since its only 2 chapters, but i must say the author can really hook you in to read it, its seems to have a good plot so far. Dark, mysterious, amusing at the same time.
