Gosh... I started the first volume before i went to bed last night, then i end up finished all the chapters out there till this morning, hardly sleep... Never thought it'll be this good as at first i didn't really like the illustration... However, the story is so intense and addictive, once i started i couldn't stop untill i finished all the 3 and a half volume i have on my computer... It's a must read manga for seinen reader...

Even though the artwork is very simple and lacks detail, and the action scenes often lack the sense of movement, the storytelling and characterisation are simply amazing and certainly make this manga one of the best out there.

To think that after so many manga read, i've managed to overlook this one. It's incredible, from it's story telling to the clean art style. An absolutely must read! One of the few series I've given a 10!

@serogane: Shin Angyo Onishi is a Berserk rip-off?
Right. One of the best korean manwha out there just happen to be a rip-off of a manga you like.
And how can you even compare Historie to Berserk? Apart from being seinen, they have nothing in common. Just because both are good? Give me a break...

At first, I was really suprised to see this mangaka had come out with new series since parasyte/kiseijuu. These series in the first volumes where more or less ok but when it started to reach its final they were quiet well and the last volume was of the best. I suppose the mangaka has gained enough experience through the years and happy to see he has used it to make up even more wonderful manga. Though this time he's done well since the beginning.

I've seen there's a one-volume Heureka in the same line that Historie done by the author before it so I suppose he had enough time to gather information to do this title. Hope the history doesn't end like the history of Eumenes I saw from wiki.

I wasn't particularly interested in this series at first because the premise seemed a little light. But when I began reading it my eyes became glued to the screen. I wouldn't have stopped if it there were more chapters for me to read. I wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who is simply into quality, engaging story-telling and art.

Yup, the story is very engaging and it is hard to let down after the first few chapters. I would love to see how far this series goes, though soon we may run out of chapters to translate. Anyway, the mysteries of his past and much of the ironies (you'll find plenty in there) keep you wanting to read more and more. Highly recommended.

Well after first 23 chapters I can say I'm impressed, definately one of the best manga titles atm, really powerful way of storytelling that picks up with second volume and doesn't let go. Art might be plain and simple but it does the job.
Things can get gruesome often though, so be warned.

Parasite was very good, I myself rate it among the most interesting mangas I've read (and I've read a lot ! ;-) ) but as someone already said it before, the mangaka seems to have gained a huge amount of experience since then :
The pace of this manga is peculiar but surely captivating, I couldn't stop reading when I first started, Eumenes as a character is impressive, not a whiner, not arrogant, ...
I like the way the mangaka draws the action scenes, they're clear and uncompromising, that's a good sign as we can probably expect more of them in the future. Also it's interesting to see greek society by the eyes of a japanese, it's very well described and intelligently dissected.

Gambatte Kotonoha !!

Wonderful... simply wonderful.

One of the best, well-thought out action manga I have ever read, the main character fights with his head, not his heart or with his strength, as is the trend.

By the same mangaka as Parasyte, it will not disappoint.

I had just read up to chapter 16 and the story made a hugely dramatic turn. Gotta say that i'm thoroughly hooked now. Eumenes is an exceedingly interesting character.
