1-2) Faraway & Over the Rainbow- Tomoi is a skinny slacker with a rough home life who always dreams of leaving town. When tall and super-cool basketball star Kajita returns a lost item to Tomoi with a made up story, he draws Tomoi attention and the two slowly become close.
3) Thistle Field Line no. 18- Beautiful, gentle Sakurai sensei, Hoshi can't help but admire him. With a mutual love of records the two connect, but Hoshi knows that something dark haunts his sweet sensei- and it has something to do with that abandoned house...
All of the oneshots here are good! They're interesting, sexy and have likable characters. The only thing about them (and oneshots in general) is that they're gonna leave you wanting more because some of them end a bit sudden and seem too short.
What aliyu009 said. The title story is a best. This isn't a tragedy and there is very little angst yet the raw realness of it breaks my heart every time I read it. It truly is one of my favorites.
It hasn't been fully scanlated, but really, the only chapters worth reading are the title story. It's a simple story about school boys set in a small town, so real it hurts. The boys really act their age and gender.
The other stories (a teacher-student relationship, etc) are just throw-aways.
