The girl is strong, determined, perfect in many ways (except the fact she only likes appearance at first). It's so refreshing and really realistic actually, she knows what she want and follow it till the end, unlike many bitches out there can't decide where her heart belongs and still asking the dude to only look at her. Showing that many handsome guys has realistic flaws, he likely to be a gold digger, gay, etc... You have to fight and have a strategic plans to fight for that one rare not only handsome but also morally not corrupted, cause miracles only happens in child's tale. There's no way in hell how shits happen so many time for dim witted females and still comes out as still being safe. It's impossible for dudes to always be there to help.
The girl is smart, strong, is able to protect her man and herself from harms, maybe a little manipulative but hey, she learns her lessons and makes up for it.
