Not sure were to put this

Well...this was a cute story. But I couldn´t help but feel that something was missing, the only reason I read furthur was because I wanted to get to the point where their feelings would be confirmed. But that never happend and it sorta left me hanging there waiting for something that would never come.
I´m not sure if I would call this a dark Shounen-ai, because it didn´t give me that feeling. It was more like... wannabe-dark. The authors tried to build up depth to it, but didn´t succed.

The Characters felt a bit too plain for my taste, they were pretty easy to forget wich I found a bit sad because the characters had huge potential. Also, the art was beautiful it really had me hooked with the ocean scenes.

I recommend this manga for people that like cute plots, for you who are thinking of reading this because of the "depth" or "dark" feeling, shouldn´t really get into this. Because you would get disappointed.

At first, I thought the photo backgrounds were lazy too, but as I read on I came to love it. It enhances the story rather than detracts from it, and it's probably not as easy as it seems, because the colors blend in with the character drawings well. The mangaka really knows what she's doing. As far as story goes, it's original and very touching. Wrapped up very well for me in the end. A must-read.

Probably the cutest shounen-ai you'll ever read

I LOVE this manhwa ALOT. One of my favorite shounen-ai stories EVER. It's extremely adorable and the characters are very beautiful. Definately for anyone who loves pretty boys (together) and angst. Usually those are the stories I HATE the most, but this story I just adored. The first chapter where the red head (forgot his name at the moment) is standing on the roof and the plastic bag flies in his face right as he's about to jump off the roof had me ROLLING for five minutes straight. Idk why but I just thought that was freaking hilarious! Anyway even though I see that some people dislike how the backgrounds are real photos just edited in, that was one thing I REALLY loved about the manhwa. It was pretty cool and different. But I think what stood out most for me was how gorgeous the characters were. The artwork for this story is just outstanding, one of the best I think. This is a must read for any shounen-ai lover!
Actually I just remembered that the brunette character of this story is my avatar. So as you can see, I'm not joking when I say I love this manhwa. The artwork is just so phenomenal. smile

Good and bad

Random pop song lyrics show up as "background music" occasionally, which translates weirdly to comic form. It treats suicide as lightly as any other "woe is me" teenager. The "backgrounds" are just blurred and 'watercolored' photos of backgrounds. The only real bit of plot is so brief and anti-climatic. This can barely even be called shounen-ai.

AND YET. There is just something about this one that I loved and it always leaves me wanting more. I think part of it is the pacing - it's much more slowly paced than most manga/manhwa, especially in this genre. You can actually believe them becoming close friends, and then possibly something more, instead of them falling into each other's arms instantly.

So, there's a lot of pros and cons to this manhwa, but in the end, I enjoyed it.

Not very deep

While I really like some of the monologues and imageries used in the dialogues here, it's ultimately just another faux-deep manhwa that deals with heavy social issues like suicides and crimes but doesn't go quite far enough to truly become great. I like the characters but even they weren't properly developed, especially the black-haired guy. I was also quite let down by the anti-climatic ending that seems to undermine previous hardships both characters had to endure to get there. But this bad-ending trope is not new as far as K-drama in general is concerned, so at least I wasn't too surprised by it.

Interesting Artist to Watch

I like how the artist/writer used the technique of photographic backgrounds. It gave a fresh depth to the story along with the use of bright water-colour appearing art. It played in well with the theme of what the seemingly mundane photos meant to the man on the run, and how he defined himself--and kept his sanity--from his terribly painful past.

From the perspective of a murder-mystery, the ending was terrible! It dissolves into a complete escape attempt at writing a true ending. Thankfully, the author choose throughout to not really focus on the false accusation of murder; rather, it was about the growth of these two individuals as they defined themselves through their tumultuous young adulthood.

It never deals with sexuality (other than as insults during an assault), but it does begin to delve into true intimacy, care for another and the brilliance that still shines from people's broken souls. In fact, I wouldn't call this boy's love at all. It never went beyond anything further than a love between men that could be a close brother type relationship or best friend tenderness. I admire the artist's ability to write such a touching relationship that I found compelling even without the sexual love apparent.

I was mildly disappointed because it seemed to wrap up much too quickly even for the self-discovery and growth of a deep, close friendship.

There were moments of vision and compelling characterization, but there was also something lacking in cohesion for the entire piece. I think, with practice and more experience this manhwa writer will improve in both story telling and art.

The story is somewhat interesting, but nothing spectacular. Both characters' motivations for running are kind of flimsy—not because they're not good enough reasons to run, but because they don't feel fully fleshed out or realistic. The whole story feels somewhat underdeveloped despite its length.

This was a really good manga but id say its a HUGE stretch saying that Stockholm syndrome and Lima syndrome applies to this. It was referenced once but only by bad guy and he was pretty psychotic. The characters liked each other but not because of a kidnapper-captive kind of situation.

Well now that I have said that, enjoy!

this have good characters. good plot. good progression. but everything seems to be just a little short of being 'great'. the characters not broken enough, not connecting enough. the plot dont flow smoothly enough, a bit short to show all their emotions. the story dont progress further and explored more the dynamic of the relationship nor the antagonist involvement. the ending is too sugary and happy go lucky after all they had been through.

but still, i cannot hate this manga, because i see the potential in it.

I really liked the story....seeing the art (not backgrounds/photography) in colour was pretty....I couldn't stand the photographed in backgrounds and scenes....I don't know it just didn't seem to work well in any of the scenes except the ocean...that was really pretty
