... way too long for what it is: a lovey-dovey shoujo romance with likable characters. I liked this unabashedly, sugarsweet side of it, and seeing the characters smile warms one's heart.
But stories need conflict, and the conflict in this story is... questionable. A plot that somehow involves amnesia, a "terrible trauma" that turns out not to have been so terrible and, more importantly, is stretched for at least a whole volume more than it should have been. And so, so much unwarranted guilt on all sides! Sigh.

I LOVE THIS MANGAKA
Darn, I wrote part of my review and then my page had to refresh and I lost everything! Gah! Let's see how much I remember.
This manga turned out way better than I had expected!!! And while I'd like to say it's such a bitter sweet story, there's nothing bitter about it! (I just like saying bitter-sweet.) The characters will surprise you (I still don't understand Hikaru very well though.) and I so wish there was a sequel! I'd love for it to be longer! But there's absolutely no chance of that happening.
Whatever you read about the manga being predictable, delete it. The mangaka does a wonderful job of hinting at things that made me try to predict but trust me, there were a lot of things that surprised me.

Like Asou having that sort of personality and being so kind, etc despite his looks and the rumours.
There was only one time where I HOPED something I imagined would happen and it did, but a bit different from how I imagined.

In the volume 4, Hikaru collapses and finally remembers. Oh and Asou has a bad feeling and comes to find her on the ground!
The artwork is so beautiful! I love how the emotions in peoples' faces are portrayed!
Oh, and trust me, you will love Hikaru's big brother!! I've never seen such a realistic sister complex!!! Makes me jealous!!! XD

Cute!!!! Honestly romantic.
This was one of the sweetest, most refreshing, and cutest love stories around. Everything felt so natural -- the characters, how they fell in love with each other so simply and naturally and effortlessly... it's a gem.
Its real shining light, though, is the communication between the couple. They talk to each other, share their fears and worries and secrets -- they act like a REAL COUPLE. There's no need for melodramatic misunderstandings here; the two of them always talk things out with each other, and I think that's so rare in a shoujo manga.
Seriously, it's great. I smiled the whole time I was reading this.
The only reason it doesn't get a 10/10 from me is because of the hype concerning Hikaru's amnesia. It added a nice element of mystery to the plot, but... they made it seem like it was this ~really big deal~ when.. it wasn't at all, really.
Still, it's such a great manga. So so cute. I really recommend it.

An abyss of boring blandness
While reading this I was desperately trying to find at least one thing I haven't seen before, and I couldn't. It was just so generic and predictable. There wasn't even one thing I liked about this. But I guess if you're a new reader and like shoujo you should read this, you're probably gonna think it's the most adorable thing ever. But if you read hundreds of shoujo, skip it, it's just not worth it...

This manga was so gentle, so pure, that it made me feel good inside, all fluffly and soft.... Which for me is something nobody would ever suspect. I really loved Sora Log (just as much as Ai Hime). Asou seems like a bad boy and intially you'd think he was a playboy (He's not... I'd even go as far as calling him a cherry boy) , but in reality...He's just a hurt little boy trying hide himself so he doesnt ever get hurt again (or hurt others). I love how sweet and gentle he is with Hikaru, he really treasures her. I even like Hikaru, she's not a whiny baby who gives up, she may seem childish, but she's very, very mature and a perfect fit.
I love the whole bit about the past, it worked very well. When you read it you'll definately understand. I also really love the moment when he figures out who she really is, his expression is just too.... . (But I'm a sadist!)
I especially loved the oneshot at the end. My kind of thing, ya'know?
Made me smile :)
This manga was really really sweet. I loved the relationship between the two characters. It's as if they can understand each other so well without words simply because of that connection and bond they share and you can really see that right when they first meet. They're both so strong and they trust each other so much. The mystery!! It's so cool how right from the start you can sense that "something is not right." That there's something more that's going on that we don't know about and each volume gives little bursts of a "mysterious past" of some sort and it makes you wanna keep reading because you wanna know what the "secret" is. It is a bit cliche at some parts but there's just something beautiful about their relationship. It's so pure and loving and honest.
I just wished it was longer! Other than that, I had a blast reading this

Definitely one of my favs!!!!!
I just love reading Mitsuki Kako-Sensei's manga. They are always so warm and cute. This story resembled a lot of her other works, but even so I LOVED IT!!!!!
Minato is just so handsome. His eyes are so expressive. When he stares intensely I was frozen and when he looked at Hikaru with so much love I was all melty. He has such a sweet personality. I simply adore him. Hikaru is such a delightful character. I never thought that a character that was ditzy and optimistic could hold my interest much less be one that I genuinely love. But she ended up stealing my heart. Hikaru is a wonderful partner for Minato. They suit each other so perfectly. I even loved Hikaru's brother, Yui, who has sister complex
This is another of my favs!!!!

OH EM GEE~~ <3
I LOVE THIS MANGA. It is my newest standard. Any manga less amazing than this no longer deserves my attention.
Art: 10/10 Minato's eyes, oh my gosh. When he got that intense look later, or the tender and adoring look, or when he cried, I just wanted to stare at him. I seriously did, several times. I just stopped reading and stared at him for a while. He's tall, broad, and masculine with the appearance of a delinquent, the piano skills of a modern Mozart, and all the tenderness of a man in love with the woman of his dreams. This was very well portrayed in how he and everyone around him was drawn, and I loved it!!
I'm normally not a big fan of overly positive female leads with some sort of mysterious past and a doting older brother, but I loved Hikaru! Especially whenever she bit back at a comment another character flung her way. I was like "Oh, snap!" all the time because she was all cute and sweet one moment and then all rebellious the next. It was awesome. She fits Minato perfectly, too. Whenever he looked at her all adoringly, it was a total "aww" moment.
I even liked Hikaru's brother, Yui, who has a major sister complex for reasons revealed later in the story that go beyond the normal hinting-at-incest type shoujo manga. Yui isn't in love with his sister, he just takes care of her, so don't not read this manga because of him. He has very good reasons for his actions.
Did I mention that I love Minato? Cuz I love him. <3 I want someone just like him for my own.
Story: 10/10 Seemed cliche, but turned out surprising, riveting, and intense. I read it all in one day because I just wanted to know what happened so dang badly. BTW, there's a great ending. Very satisfying.
All in all: 10/10. Perfect. Amazing. Romantic while not going over the top. Feel-good, yet still deep and emotional. As expected of Mitsuki Kako-sensei. Kiss/Hug is another of my favorite mangas, and she definitely fulfilled my expectations for awesomeness on this. Long distance high-five, Sensei!!!
This was pretty cute =] I am content. The story made me laugh and smile and just make all kinds of faces haha The characters were so cute. I just loved Hikaru. Even though she was so light hearted and happy go lucky, she wasn't the annoying type. I loved her honesty, and her courage in showing and saying what she truly felt no matter what. Minato was just too adorable as well haha I loved how he tried to make himself seem so mean, but couldn't help but be nice at the same time. He was soo misunderstood =[ The extra story at the very end made my heart warm. Just too cute <3
so like Mitsuki Kako sensei's style. All her characters, all her stories, have almost the same element. All her storylines are soft as in told in a very warm manner way. It's always gentle...you know, that feeling! Like you're sitting outside of your house, reading a book under the warm weather. That's how it feels. I kinda like the characters and I have to say, I find Hikaru's positiveness a little bit over exaggerated. There isn't much girls in reality are like that, so...that's a little bit too much but since it's a manga, who cares! Her brother is not exactly a bad person, he's just worried about his cute lil sister, so I don't think so I can blame him for his over-protectiveness...and I like Asou! He's cool yet he can't keep his coolness. hahaha! But overall, it's a very gentle read. If you like her other works, maybe you'll like this one as well.
