This is rather a decent collection of stories. At the beginning I wasn't quite sure though because the title story definitely isn't something I'd devour right away, I mean the setting's just a bit too awkward and forced for my liking. That is not to say it's terrible though because until the end Konno Keiko-sensei had managed to develop it better. However, it's really some of the other stories that caught my attention. I've noticed that the mangaka has a good sense of humour (this had been shown from many of her older works), thus her comedic stories tend to be better as a result. I personally love the two last stories, which are 'coincidentally' all comedies. The collection might vary a bit in quality for me but in the end the manga as a whole has been an enjoyable ride. Also, like I have mentioned before in another series' comment, I quite like sensei's art as well. It's a bit sketchy but strangely comforting and relatable, thus suits the stories' profile perfectly fine and can create a 'realistic' effect.

Ladies and gentlemen, this has got to be one of the sweetest yaoi I've read (beaten by "Rutta to Kodama" and a few others). So far I've read only a few of this mangaka's works and I'm looking forward to more biggrin

Sure, one or two of the oneshots weren't of my taste, but (especially the last one) was sweet enough to give me a toothache. If the sappy, leaves a cheesy grin on your face, kind of story isn't your cup of tea...then perhaps you could look elsewhere. The stories aren't overly 'lovey-dovey' so much so that it'd make you roll your eyes and snort, they're also quaint enough to keep you interested smile

The art isn't my favourite, but still very pleasant. I absolutely agree with ann03 on the comment about how the genre of Yaoi has so much work focusing a little too heavily on rape and smut. If you're looking for something teasingly enjoyable and easy on the stomach, this I'd definitely recommend ^u^

This volume has a whole lot of oneshots (like 9?) which are mostly unrelated.
All of them are nice reads; romantic, comedic and down-to-earth stories of first love, confession, unrequited feelings and first steps.
I enjoyed every single one of them, even though some feel a bit cut-off, like you wish there was another chapter about the couple and how their relationship goes on.
The characters are all very well portrayed, normal and lovable.

I especially liked how these stories tell about a certain aspect in love, like starting to like someone, being a bit scared of the way you feel and how to confess your love to the person.
There's a lot of emotion, but not overly much or even unrealistic drama.

Also a great read if you are tired of all the Yaoi where people are raped and forced feeling onto, love someone who abuses and uses them or jump straight to sex............. none of that here! (And I love that!)

There were no comments on the completed volume which includes various one-two shots, so I felt the need to comment. The title story was just so-so. The setup for it was forced and awkward, but I did think it was rather nice later on. The other stories were mixed. I quite liked some of them and I don't think I hated any. They're mostly melodrama-free and deal with emotion in a palpable and at least vaguely realistic manner, which I appreciated.

The guy's awkwardness was pretty amusing to see, but other than that... Well, the plot left a lot to be desired and the sex wasn't good enough to hold up on its own.

Edit: This review is of the original one-shot, not the expanded full volume.
