Could have been longer

This was good and the art was great, but I really felt that this could have been longer. Some parts were a little too rushed for me and the ending was kind of abrupt?
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I wish the mangaka could've showed more about Hinoto and Tsukiko maybe actually meeting each other or something.

So much left unresolved...

As the other reviewers have said, it does end quite abruptly but on top of this, so much is left unresolved...

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The remorse of the parents who, to begin with were so rabid and heartless could have been expanded upon.
The issue of her powers and whether she could ever control them or use them consciously.
Whether they were even her own powers as, in the first instance, she was "possessed" by her mother.
Hinoto's revenge and if his seal was broken, would he have been witness to the murders of the shrine maidens? Could he have saved them?
The death of Tsukiko's mother from the persecution of the other shrine maidens in the first place and the lack of remorse from older shrine maidens who were involved in this that are still alive.
A reunion between Hinoto and Mizuki would have been welcomed, or a proper reunion between Tsukiko and her mother that doesn't involve her disappearing in front of Tsukiko's eyes.

Maybe I think too much and am left with a hollow feeling after reading for this. But in any case, it's good for what it is but not entirely recommended for older readers.

Yes, the story was pretty good. But just as it started taking momentum, I learn that it just ended. Thus I was left with a big dose of "That's it!?" syndrome.

I really hope this was an experimental oneshot that may continue serialization in the future. Hybrid main characters are always a good source for conflict.

Okay, but too many shallow cliches...

The art was quite pretty, but... omigosh the cliches. I quickly realized that almost everything that happened in this manga is a shoujo cliche. When something happens, just think of the most obvious thing that would happen next, and you've accurately and exactly predicted it all. Also, it was a bit rushed because it was so short, so some parts of it are a little choppy and unexplained. Almost all of the "twists" are the stereotypical twists that are seen in every shoujo manga of this type. I say almost because, well, near the end there was something that surprised me. It's alright for light reading with wonderful eye candy, if you don't think too deeply.

Really?! That's it?

Art is good for the kind of manga that it is, but it was really disappointing. I agree with what everyone has written, there is so much more to the whole manga. It needed more time to develop the characters and it didn't have that time, so the characters never really developed. It had a lot of potential, but this was it. :/
