Description
Taken from NETCOMICS:
The six romantic, sensual shorts in The Gentleman and the Lady reveal that love is often surprising and always unavoidable. There may be more to a friendship than meets the eye, as true love is sometimes hidden where a girl least expects it.
This endearing collection by Kazumi Tohno opens with the title story, introducing the "chummy threesome": Kotoko, Katsuto, and Komon. These close-knit friends get along very well... but even the best of friends are put to the test when they're all stuck in a love triangle with each other!

At first I was wondering why this manga had such a low rating. Usually some people would rate mangas low due to some random reason, like for instance if the art was bad. Even if this had so many low ratings, I still decided to give this a try...and boy, do I regret it..
I was trying my best to adapt to the art, but how could I when the plot of the story was just as bad? I only read the first chapter and I've already decided to drop this series. Really though, I do not recommend this book.

Just seeing how low the rating is makes me want to overrate it to boost the average.
Art: 7/10
It is an older style, as said by other reviewers, but I cannot consider it bad art. There are plenty of manga tones, and appropriate shadings, and some really detailed drawings. I had gotten used to the style before from reading older manga, and it is a bit surprising for a 2005 published manga to be drawn in this style, but its not bad.
Story/Characters: 5/10
Considering that its short stories, both are not too bad. Some of the stories are interesting and intriguing. But ALL of them have abrupt endings though. And they're not 'sensual' in any way. The characters hardly have time to develop, but they're likable enough.
Enjoyment/Overall: 4/10
I didn't care for the stories very much. The basis of all of them are nothing special. I got bored halfway through a bunch of them. And the endings were disappointing. But I got through it in the end, and some of the stories, though lacking, are very interesting

i don't know if the translation was bad or this is what it actually translated to, but it was mostly incomprehensible, art is awful especially from a manga from 2005, i would expect this of a work from the 80s. I had to give up halfway as it was so awful.
Well...

OK, first off, this manga isn't smut. So for those who read this just for it, don't. The art isn't good. I mean, most of the works Version4 does have bad art, but this manga has the worst art I have ever seen. The plots in the manga aren't very good either. I only liked the first story and even then, it was confusing. I could barely follow what was going on.
