Okay, I'll say this first. I really hate Morishima Akiko's work. I hate how her characters are as squishy and doughfaced as two-year-olds yet somehow also have enormous boobs. I hate the creepy way she juxtaposes innocence and cuteness with sex. But I actually didn't hate these short stories. Okay, Soft-Boiled Fujoshi was seriously gross. And the rest of the stories still had that characteristic grossness. And all of them were far from being original. But they weren't bad. Ruriiro no Yume, Nostalgia, and Honey and Mustard were unusually serious stories with unusually believable things to say about relationships. Princess of the Stars was a cute parody of the idealism of shoujo-ai and what happens to those relationships after they move out of the protective sphere of their all-girls schools. So... I didn't hate this anthology. I guess Morishima isn't always absolutely deplorable.
