Sometimes when you've gone through too much shoujo manga with girls drooling over guys that are mysterious or playboys, etc. you get numbed out to the generic plotline. This manga is indeed heart-warming and different in that it doesn't have to have hot steamy passion or super drama to be good; it's beautiful in its simplicity and it feels like a get-well card from a good friend. Read it and feel fuzzy inside! =D

Wow. I love this series. It's so warm and happy and friendly and absolutely adorable. A nice simple story about childhood friends. The characters are very likable and the art is so sweet!

This is definitely a breather from all those too dramatic, complicated relationships, love mangas. The relationship between the two main characters is so sweet and cute! The only complaint I would have is that the development is too fast. Nevertheless, when you read it, you just feel like smiling Recommended for all those who want a ray of sunshine in their day!

i rarely read shoujo manga.i give this manga a tried because i love the arts and i like how fujimoto sensei draws her heroine differently from what we see in most shoujo manga.(no long hair,mini skirt and her looks is not very special either)this manga talk about the 2 friends who have been always together and how kuriko is always protecting the crybaby and timid minami.give this manga a try.you'll definitely love it.the reason i give this manga 9 is because this is not a shounen ai manga.if it's shounen ai i'll give 10 for sure.i really hope fujimoto sensei will draw shounen ai one day.

This is a lovely pure hearted love story. The characters are so sweet and you can just tell that they're meant for each other. I can see them married and having children and everything. They are so cute. I also love the side characters, and also the two side stories we got. The second one was about the little brother and that was super cute. This manga is just so happy, lovely, sweet with a twinge of bittersweet. It's perfect for a light read and a good mood lifter.

this manga actually wants you to believe in love.

to me this story was so beautiful and touching, the art was good but the plot was not like all the shoujo mangas.. when the guy is an asshole and the girl doesn't know the meaning of pride.
well this one is totally different is a pure love story with sweet characters.
my kokoro feels a little melancholic after reading this but I'm not even sorry.

The way the guy looks just really urkes me. 2 characters that dont really change at all. If you like that innocent shoujo love without any physical affection, then knock yourself out.

added later - ok they change a little bit, but not till the last damn chapter. The last chapter is also when the conflict comes along. Kind of funny, 8 chapters of pure slice of life then in the last chapter there is a big ole conflict.

This shoujo manga is not bogged down by the typical stereotypical plot points of generic shoujo mangas. It's sweet, heart warming and slightly emotional. It's truly not all about the drama that most shoujo mangas seem to be about. It's simply about siblings (not blood related) advancing in their love for each other.
