Too many things happened in chapter 1. The art is too flashy in my eyes, especially those unnecessary and irrelevant flowers. The plot is so-so, not really good, not really bad. The characters are not likeable but I don't find them annoying.
To sum up, this manga is good for people who want a readable series but is a waste of time for those who searching for decent romance stories

I don't understand about all the other comments. How in the world is this heroine dumb? Sure she is awkward and messes up. Who doesn't? At least she isn't like that girl who is always whiny when her boyfriend is talking to another girl (*cough* Tsubaki Hibino *cough*). No. I actually like her. She sticks up for her friend. She always cheers for him. She realizes that she made a mistake.

I think it's the guy who is annoying. He might be a bishie, but he is so needy and whiny. He's so selfish that he doesn't let the heroine do what she wants to do all because he doesn't want anyone else to touch her. He gets easily hurt and is just a complete jerk. Seriously? I prefer the other males rather than him.

Besides that, the art was pretty and story was nice. I recommend it as a light read.

Don't get me wrong, the art in every way is very nice, but the story itself is very lackluster.
I made it to chapter 10 or so, and skimmed my way towards the end.
The main character is not very likable in my eyes, and Kousei is an unstable character.
I even found the ending to be very... unpleasing?

The story is slow and uninteresting in my opinion.

I enjoyed it very much! The main characters grow along with the development of the plot, the art is pretty, and I loved the mangaka's sense of humor. The very ending seemed a bit rushed though; and I suppose this manga could become even better if it was longer... Still, 'Mishounen Produce' is good enough as it is, so I think it's worth reading. Gonna check out other works by Ichinose Kaoru.

well everything there is to this manga was said already. Alwerien told exact my thoughts chemistry and feelings-wise:
dumb heroine who does horrible things to the guy who loves her and does everything she wishes for, "not noticing" her own feelings and continuing to be horrible.

Shinjite Florana tells you what to expect from the plot:
forced drama situations that are so highly unlike to happen you want to bang your had on the table.
"Typical" but incredible stupid superman transformation of the heroine, where no one recognizes her without glasses and she charms everyone but the second she puts on her glasses everyone is like: where did the beautiful girl go?

And as everyone mentioned: the art is the best part about this manga. It makes the scenes extreamly sweet and fluffy.

I am really a fan of well .done cliche shojo and lovestorrys in all colors but the above mentioned execution ruined this one for me.

But maybe i am just one of few...

Honestly, I wonder if this is even worth reviewing. I am not one to criticize people's taste, but this manga was so dull! I can't understand how anyone could like this!

It was pretty much the same theme throughout the series, there was no drama, not really any progression, I did not feel attached to the characters, the romance was dull, the plot would have been somewhat interesting if it had been executed better and I honestly didn't like it.

I won't rant because Ichinose probably worked hard on this manga and I don't like to speak ill of her because I'm a fan of her other works, but this one was just ridiculously mundane. Can't even call it cliche because it would speak poorly of well executed cliche mangas. Bloody failure!

OK. So I know this has a lot of "bad ratings", but I absolutely LOVED it!! The story was just so gosh darn cute (squeals) :-)

First off I loved the characters and the fact that there wasn't any unnecessary drama. And I loved the growth of the characters the most. That's one thing I always love seeing in mangas, It was so cute how Kousei loved Kako but she was too slow to see it and how she felt herself.

The art was amazing. It's one thing I always look forward to in mangas as well... Besides the story that is. Because the story is what draws me in the first place. The art is just an incredible bonus :-D

Though the ending was a little disappointing to me... I still think the whole thing was a job well done!

Seeing how I don't even remember their names show how forgettable they are. Welcome your typical hero and heroine. The heroine is the typical 'I-wear-glasses-but-I'm-actually-pretty' girl and of course, once she takes those glasses off, every guy is mesmerised. The male lead is so dull. He's only good-looking, occasionally teases the girl and in the end, he freaking pressurises her. Nothing special.

Story ★★★
Average. Average. Average. Nothing unexpected happens. The same old plot devices. Nothing that hasn't been done yet. I'm not saying that a story has to be really original to be good. Old or popular ideas can be used but it's the way the mangaka brings it out to make it or break it.

Art ★★★★
Really depends on preference but I found the art to be cute and fluffy. I'm not gonna lie. It was the art that made be read the manga.

Read it if you have nothing else to read. Or else read a manga that's award-winning even though the art puts you off.

I really tried hard to get through this manga, but after the first few chapters, I felt like I was falling asleep... I really wanted to like this, but after the story was initially set, I just couldn't keep going. The first few chapters were funny enough because it was setting the foundation of the rest of the plot line. After that, I just wanted to skip to the end to see them together at the end. Maybe other people might find it more entertaining, but it really wasn't for me.

the first few chapters is actually extremely good in my opinion, very funny and have great character interactions. but then halfway down the road, where they go to the other school, it become so typical and bland i am severely disappointed. it is not a bad manga at all, it just, it become so melodramatic, so sparkly, so shoujo, that it become quite tiring to read. however, this only have 4 vol, so it is still a passable short read.
