I didn't like this manga very much. The art was kind of disturbing, although still kind of pretty. And the characters tended to be very creepy, in personality and apperance. I thought the teacher was just pure grade A asshole. he was really mean to Kako thoughout the manga, insulting her a lot, and being really mean and blunt to the point that she was desperate because of his un-want for her. He doesn't even change, until the end, and then its just feels more like wishful thinking, or playboy lust. Also, I felt like Kako wasn't really in love with him either. It felt more like a twisted form of caring and hate, and delusion of her teacher of when he was nice. I also suspect, it was his rejection towards her that set her off.
Anyway, I do give it an 7 because of the art, and some of the good moments in the manga, but I really wouldn't read this if I were you, unless you have time on your hands, and don't mind creepy insanity. (Not in the good way)

i was reading the comments and i thought that it'd be something unique and appealing to me but when Kako did THAT to the teacher in his house, it made me go "what the fuck, she's gone crazy" and it just made me dislike the manga from then on. i don't like obsessive female characters. it makes them look pathetic.
it was a happy ending but it was just not to my liking :/

So you're reading another shojou. The main girl is torn between her love interest and her friendship with another girl, who also loves the same guy. She's indecisive, she cries a lot, she stupidly lets her friend take him, and you hope she has an epiphany somewhere down the line. You can't read another page. You wish she would stalk her love interest, tie up him down, sex him up, and shove her bitch of a friend out a window and break her neck--OHSHIT, did I just read that? is this really happening? and it makes him realize his love for her? Some part of you is thinking, "this girl is batshit insane, this can't be right..." but deep down, you know that without her to balance out all the stupid impotent shojou protagonists of yesteryear, teachers would never get the forced blowjobs they deserve. Wait, what? Shh... it doesn't need to make sense. Just roll with it. You know how we do.You didn't even have to write that rape-apology letter, because he was fantasizing about your expert tongue for two years. Ah, who doesn't love happy endings. At least, we think this was a happy story. We are eagerly awaiting a reversed version of this, where the competing male love interest ties up the wimpy indecisive shojou girl and gives her the best lip service she's ever seen to make up her mind. You know what shojou, you're all right. You've come a long way, baby.

The art and the story were depressing. Some places were exaggerated and it was hard to follow. And the monologue of each character is too damn heavy. I'd buy an art book of this artist, but I can't imagine myself reading something like this manga in a bigger format(1-2 vols tops).
Believe it or not,

I actually enjoyed this manga.
It wasn't AWH-I-TOTALLY-KNEW-THAT-WAS-GOING-TO-HAPPEN-BUT-ITS-CUTE shoujo.
Art is very beautiful, and the character is unique.
I really didn't see the heroine go that desperate for a guy. It was always the guy who was chasing after the heroine desperate, and that made it cute. BUT, this manga was the opposite, actually quite dark and psychological one in fact, and that's what made it so unique and interesting for me. (:
It was a great shock for me when I read this. But it was the "good" kind of shock.
This manga, to the readers, is either you loved it or you hated it. And I guess I'm the 'loved it' person.
I don't understand why other people hate it so much that they gave so many 1s ! It's a fresh new change in shoujo manga, and the smut part wasn't even that bad. I mean, come on, you've seen worse in yaoi and other mangas with sex in them. Not trying to argue, but just sayin'.
SO, my point is, if you want a fresh new concept in shoujo with lots of jealousy, drama, and a little boldness in the heroine, I'd definitely recommend this to you. (:
PS : I hope there'd be more great mangas like this in the future!

Hina Sakurada's manga is sort of hit or miss. The art is always nice, but her stories... Wow. Sometimes they're weird and unpleasant, other times they're cute and likable. This one is definitely a miss. It's basically a manga about a psycho stalker... masquerading as a shoujo manga. It's not creepy enough to be drama or horror, but not actually pleasant or romantic at all. What is this? I don't even... Read "Is It Okay If I Love You?" or the one-shot "A Lesson in Temptation" from the "Secret Love Stories" compilation, instead. Both are far better works by this mangaka. This one's a stinker.

well i'm guessing most of the people who disliked this were more shoujo people
i personally have always found popular shoujo wayy to unrealistic and boring as well as predictable
this manga was very surprising and unique
dark and mysterious, and a bit of a phycological thriller and alot more josei than shoujo
although very intense and even messed up at some points i found it as a veryy interesting story and absolutely loved it
i dont recommend this for shoujo lovers, but if you're into a more phycological and josei kind of story this is perfect or you

i used to LOVE this, but then i reread it. The art is really...odd. The guys do not have eyebrows and the girls all looks like emotionless dolls. i guess its pretty if you like that sort of thing but the missing eyebrows are freaking me out...and also the author love drawing crying, dramatic looking faces and that really puts me off. But there are really no cliches here, so i guess this could be refreshing if that's your thing.

First, I don't understand how someone can actually give a mark of 1 because of the art.
Seriously, look twice, THE ART IS GORGEOUS!
Maybe it's different from usually shoujo art, the characters are so skinny. They remind be of Arcana [the manhwa]. It's a really original combination between the original shoujoa art style and the manhwaka's art style. I personally love it!
Getting to the story, it's great till the ending that it's really unfitting.
[SPOILERS MIGHT FOLLOW]:
The story is original, something new that starts out as a normal shoujo story, but ends up to me much more. First, please note that this story is marked as psychological as it's trying to define one's obsession for love.
We have Kako, our cute heroine that falls in love with her teacher. Of course she get's rejected at first and we all try to sympathize with her. The first chapter leaves you in a cliffhanger as we find out that her beloved teacher is kissing Yuri, Kaho's best friend. Anything pretty normal till now, till the second chapter appears that made me said wow. She doesn't run from the truth but try's to face it, her friend is a bitch [but in a way has the right to do so since she had Enjoe from the beginning]. Our desperate heroine follows the teacher to his home and actually violates him. Now you start to wonder which character is actually good here. Enjoe seems to be the only normal one since he is caught up between 2 crazy chicks.
But wait, then the last chapter make us understand that he has fallen for Kako, even thought he claimed he loved Yuri. Why? Because Kako was screaming for love while Yuri wasn't, since she already had it? In a way, from another perspective you get to see that the one who's actually stealing the teacher is Kaho, not Yuri. So in the end the teacher also has weird taste getting drowned by an possessive girl. Yuri was also possessive, maybe that's why he loved her, but Kaho is so much more XD.
Did I mention Kaho's lolita sister? She only appears once in the last chapter for fan-service, but she's awesome XD! This manga is filled with elements that normally you wouldn't combine and I love it because of that, full of diversity XD.
Now getting to the bad side, the ending.... It's too shoujo for such a non-shoujo manga. That type of love [with butterflies and flowers in the background] doesn't suit the 2 protagonists. I'm happy that they ended up together, but I would have wanted to see something more shocking scenes then a confession from the teacher with a plain kiss. Kako's confession was stunning, while forcing her feelings into him [*cough*, sucking his *cough*], but his confession was plain compered to her's.
Ending really unfitting. If you want to do something different do it from the beginning till the ending...
Still, it was something new so I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't recommend this to typical shoujo fans, just for those who want to try something out of the ordinary. ^-^
P.S.: again, the doll like art is great!
