I am actually quite conflicted in regards to what to make of this. As a piece of comedy, it fails. Story is poor. The character development is shallow. The art is sticks and sketches. The over dramatic bits of the manga create a really jarring contrast with the more sensible parts. And it’s the sensible parts, as few as they are, which I found cute and actually like. But even more than that it’s the character types to which I am drawn; tsundere and puppy dog love.
Honestly though, I was expecting incest and manrape to take place, despite the shounen ai tag, so I am relieved that didn’t happen.

More on the funny side than Shinnyuu Kinshi no Koi.

Yes, I have already said it before and the artwork isn't the thing, that picked my interest right away, but it's also nothing to worry about. It matches the style in which the story is told and I came to like the way, how the artist is drawing sharp eyes.

Anyways, the storyline has a few weaknesses and over the top moments, like the whole chapter about the overseas magician and the way how Yuu & that guy try to seduce Jin. Honestly especially as active artists (idols!) it's unbeblieveable, how they risk to blow the carefully build up image and act all corny. Coughs. That's not really my cup of tea, yet I liked the personality of Jin and his worries about losing control. Let alone the joke at the end, it makes me rise the rating by a half point this time. Lol.

I Like It, But...

Okay, so I like this couple a lot, especially Yuu (he's great!). And I like them a lot in this story and in the rest of the series. Only, sometime the plots get so crazy and so illogical ("pretend to date me or I'll hypnotize your lover and he won't be able to sing" - it's nuts!).

So, I give the characters a 9/10 and the plot for this particular book a 4.5/10. This one's weak, but still way better than in the prequel. Plus, I like it better when Jin is jealous of someone Yuu likes. wink

I didn't expect to love this manga as much as I do.
I read the doujin by accident and then realised that the summary here and on the cover really don't do justice to how well done this story is.
I thoroughly recommend it.

I have so much love for this manga! XD I didn't get to see my characters from the prequel, but I fell so much in love with Jin and Yuu that I didn't care. Especially Jin! I LOVE him! He always acts so cool and calm, careful that he doesn't let too much show. I suppose that's why I was positively squealing when Yuu wanted him to confess his love after overhearing the conversation between him and J, and Jin was blushing so hard! >< They are so cute together; I really wish I could have more of them. I wish there was a sex scene -pout-. I want Yuu to be on top... I thought Jin would be the seme at first, but now I definitely want him as the uke. I love ukes who are reluctant to show how they really feel. It makes it all the more cute when they do! ^_^ Anyways, my one complaint about the manga is the last chapter. I mean, I think it was pointless to throw Yoshimoto into the mix. XP But whatever. That still doesn't stop me from giving this manga a, yeah, that's right, 10. =^_^=
