Haeun has a step brother who's a gang leader and she gets blamed for everything he does. When her brother makes it so that she is late for class, she has a strange encounter- the encounter that makes her a housemaid for the rest of the year. [spoiler] The plot enchanted me, the drawing is beautiful, I have always liked manhwa. But there is always a but…
1. The parents of the protagonists were horrible. What kind of mother thinks of her own happiness first rather than that of her children? And not to mention the dad, since it was like a simple ornament. I didn't even see a proper apology with your daughter. Even in the end they kept doing horrible things to their daughter. I have read other manga with the same theme, and usually the parents decide to separate and that is why the protagonists end up deciding to separate so as not to affect their parents. I was waiting for a kind of growth in those characters, but they remained stuck in the same, being terrible parents.
2. The boy played dead, and can you forgive him that easily? Those things don't happen in real life, of course you can forgive him if your love is so great. But that simple? No, I can say it because I experienced a similar situation. They are those lies that leave you marked, and although if you forgive him, I could never trust him again (to date), but I guess my love was not as great as that of our protagonists. (We are also talking about a shojo)
3. I am not going to complain about the indecisive form of the protagonist, because we are talking about protagonists who next to me are children who can be easily manipulated by everyone around them (especially if their way of being is weak). I think I liked his character, because he was neither so so, nor very very. I've read characters who are either overly loud or too crying. It was relaxing a character who was in the middle of those two lines, I think the only thing I did not like about her was that she always tried to put her happiness before that of others.
4. Already for the last point (although I would like to touch more points, because there are some) I want to talk about the end that left me a lousy word of mouth. Was that really the end? Yes, it ended well and everything, but I think it should have been longer, more romantic, more epic. Something in exchange for all the suffering they went through in the last volume. I don't know, I'm just not satisfied.
In conclusion, he was a good manhwa, with bad parents, bad decisions and even worse endings. [/ spoiler]

It has interesting depth to it.. Find it a bit drawn out here and there. Art is okay.. They look like cone heads to me.
Overall the manwha was dragged out and pretty predictable. Cute read though.

starts with a girl and her step brother always fighting about things and he is pretty much a delinquent. He keeps sleeping around. Slowly but surely she starts to realize her feeling and his! But it is complicated because their parents want a child together. Which would bind them together as real siblings and she gets herself in a situation where this rich kid uses her for her cleaning but then wants to date her. He also sNts to marry her and the parents say yes!
This makes it comicated. Then when they secretly kiss at the park the girl that likes him takes a photo and posts it onto the school website. This angers the boy and then it sends the girl home. He then remedies the situation by setting up a better view of her as the one he loves on the site (anonomously, but she knows it's him). She then breaks up with the rich boy. He throws a fit. She then runs into her brother and she confesses to not care if they are seen in public. The ex finds out on the spot and stops them. The brother and ex start brawling right away. The ex blames it on him but she ended up telling him that it was her that put moves on him first. They the. Leave him broken hearted. The bitch that started it is still planning stupid shit on the sister over jealousy. A guy gets out of jail and she wants to pay him to break her... The sister tells her friends her true feelings for her brother, and that they are going out. They are happy for her... her and her friend sneak into a club to watch her brother sing. She is forced by her friend to take a seat with these two guys. She is scared to get found out. Their parents found out their feelings and shit is weird. Don't know why I'm still reading this. The ex is still trying to get in the way. The end was pretty dramatic. Was kinda expecting something like Shin faking his death to happen. I think it's cute and innocent, but kind of boring in a way.

Haeun and her step brother Shin have a thing going which is very predictable. Shinu Han a rich kid that falls for Haeun, forming the love triangle, is also another typical theme. Teacher Kukhyun Ji, her old neighbor turned student teacher and someone Haeun loved as a child, also another typical scenario. Bora a girl that is in love with Shin and will hurt Haeun for revenge, another typical plot. And based on the title "Forbidden Kiss" it's obvious who Haeun chooses. In summary, if you love the typical shoujo romance, this is it.
