Description
Atsushi Ando (15) moves back to his home town with his family after 6 years. The story focuses on the fortunes and misfortunes he encounters in this town mostly due to pranks pulled by the ghost of his older brother, Hitsushi Ando, AKA Q-Chan, whose death prompted the family to move away in the first place.

The catch is, only Atsushi can see his brother's ghost.

Manga changed a lot in 30 years but Adachi's manga is still the same as it was 30 years ago. Is it a good or bad new? It depends on you are a fan of his works or not. And I'm one of his big fan.

First of all I have a lot of respect for Adachi's amazing work (Rough,H2 etc) but this is downright pathetic compared to those. The writing is quite sloppy and being a monthly manga you would expect some faster development but its entirely the opposite and the dead brother keeps pulling pranks which got old by the second chapter.... BUT the problem is the art. I am shocked that Adachi repeats art panels so much that in only a span of around 150 pgs (5 chaps) it gets annoying. Even if your are an Adachi fan, stick with cross-game.

Even if it is a parody, the jokes seem forced and are generally unfunny.

Stay away from this one.

Another Solid Manga by Adachi

Like the previous reviewer said it has elements that are similar to his past works. Except this time there's a ghost around him and people viewing the main character as immature. Similar traits of this manga includes main character behind the big brother's shadow and the fact that the big brother is dead.

You know what they say "The living can never beat the dead"

I get the feeling I'm reading a compilation of Adachi's work....15 year old kid (like in many of his other manga) a dead sibling (cross game) and the girl who doesn't really like him....(cross game....rough....katsu....). Either way I'll still read this manga.

I have to wonder...

First off, it strikes me as hilarious that this entirely storyline seems to have been based off an idea for the title alone (family names, the ghost brother, etc.)

Still, this is a solid start for another Adachi piece. His character development is often great, but his pacing is also quite odd. Only time will tell how it develops.
