Personally, most of Nekota Yonezu's works I've read up until now never really excited me.
Now, her art is really cute and detailed but her stories were pretty cliche...
and that's what I thought about this one before I read it.

And boy, I'm soooo glad I read it!!!

I found myself laughing out loud at Shunpei's naive and honest remarks.
For example, the whole "cat" mix-up. haha
This story is absolutely, hilariously, adorable. <33

This definitely was a good read and it really did surprise me.
I'm starting to like Nekota Yonezu all over again. (:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
For a while though, I was like: "Yeah, yeah, Fumi's definitely an uke."
And boooy... was I pleasantly surprised!!
I absolutely LOVE unpredictable couples and the third chapter was HOT. *nosebleeds*
I can't wait to see Fumi and Shunpei's relationship develop.
As well as the class president's with that judo boy. hehehe ;D

I highly recommend this to any BL fan who wants a good laugh. P:

Don't get me wrong, I love Mousou Elektel (10 rating right here) but I just feel like the story has already ended. The first volume seemed... done. I can't really see anything happening further that I will enjoy as much as the first story.
Reading it now, I'm just getting annoyed with the characters. There seems to be drama over nothing, and the series is starting to lose the fun flavor it once had.

What happens when a supposedly-uke insists to be a seme, and takes an advantage that the supposedly-seme is sexually confised, that's basically what's the story is about.

Nekota Yonezoh is my fave author, and this stories is no exception, i love it to bits.

i really agree with all the comments below. i rarely give 10 , no on second thought i never did my highest rate was 9.5 -with generosity- so this one in my opinion really worth reading and its mostly because of the funny scenes.
highly recommend it and although some ppl have mentioned that its a bit cliche and predictable i don't think so.
i admit some basic ideas for this manga was a bit cliche but the way nekota Yonezou pulled it out was amazing. lets say the relationship development and characters personality and actions were more realistic than your typical yaoi manga. not quit real but good enough.
it was funny and hilarious as hell.

What are people talking about? This manga gets better and better after each volume because we are seeing them GROW as people and as a couple. They are teenagers and still learning, they are supposed to make mistakes and be a little annoying....I am sure most teenagers are like that guys.

Please read and judge them as complex characters, not boring one dimensional ones!

Keep them coming, I want to see them married lol smile)

Very cute manga. Nice characters and great art. Not to mention her sex scenes manage to be very hot while not even showing that much. I'm really pleased to see more than your typical love scene. As for the story, I find it very tongue in cheek in a lot of ways. It's going against the "rules" of seme and uke supposedly, but still really plays up the stereotypes in a very humorous way. The characters are great and very endearing. I especially love Shunpei's delusions!

I love, love, love this manga! I cannot gush enough about it. It's laugh-out-loud funny, which rarely happens in BL, at least with me. The art is amazing and the story is treated very differently from other similar plots. End result, sweet as heck! Highly highly recommend. It's enough to have discovered yaoi just to have read this, which is high praise indeed!

Imagine a fangirl scream, cuz that's what I'm doing right now. Seriously, the two of them are stupidly adorable, and it is interesting to see them go through the normal fits and starts of teenage sexuality. (But, um, do guys really gather and watch porn together? That seems kind of odd to me....)

Beautiful art and believable characters, though the sister seriously angers me. I'm going to assume she's suffering from some sort of cultural bias that makes her a yaoi fangirl while at the same time being slightly homophobic.

Definitely unexpected twist, adorable characters, BEAUTIFUL art. It's more of a "friends-that-might-be-in-love" so not a huge developing romance, but a cute (less than subtle) one. Really worth reading, I almost passed it up a few times on Mangafox because of the cover-art they display there, just too goofy. It was so funny and heartwarming though that I check almost every week for updates.

...And chapter three, ohhh boy.

(read up till ch.2)

It's a fine read. The plot is a bit cliché, but it doesn't make the manga boring in any way. The art is nice and the story is told in a refreshing way. I laughed hard a couple of times. smile

But what really makes me glad is how direct Shunpei is. It's hard to explain, but you can feel how Shunpei and Fumi have been friends for a long time, because they can talk to one another naturally, even though Shunpei knows that Fumi is gay. They can talk to each other like normal guy friends would talk to each other (even though I don't know much about it since I'm a girl), instead of the OVERLY SHY-ish scenarios we're often bombarded with. Yeah Shunpei may blush at times, but he still says what is on his mind. I like that. Ah... Maybe I'm analyzing too much, because the conversations in the story aren't that deep. bigrazz

What I'm trying to say: The story is okay, and you won't be bored while reading it I guess. smile
