A very typical set of stories without much to call a proper conclusion or climatic ending. I like the characters enough - this mangaka is very good at creating the settings and all, but there has been almost like a formula that each and every story of his has followed, same 'drama', same development, same 'time for action', same outcome. I'm simply not being enthusiastic to read further anymore because I know it will be the same thing repeating over and over. Also, not much substance was provided on how or what made the characters actually fall for each other in the first place. It's such a waste of potential really, because I sincerely like the low-key and not-necessarily-eye-candy-but-still-prettily-engaging art and the general atmosphere that every story has at the beginning.

Well, this wasn't really THAT awesome but it's a decent read. Something that you'd pick up when you're relaxing or something. It wasn't really funny, the jokes were like...being told with a straight-face that kind of thing. But the stories are still sweet smile

All of the stories in this manga are sweet, with just a little bit of subtle humor. As most short stories go, you crave a little more depth to them, but I don't think anybody would be left feeling as if any were without closure. Good for a light read, but nothing necessarily memorable. I like what yuri21 said about Sakura Haji's style - the comparison to a diamond in the rough really sums it up quite nicely. ^_^;

Weird style of humor...

Hmmm... as usual, Sakura Haji's got a really weird and maybe even slightly ironic sense of humor. Well, that said... his kind of stories are often kinda sweet but at the same time, oddly twisted. 8.5 'cos hmmm... his style is kinda interesting but like a rough diamond, it needs a bit more developing.
