Protagonist spends the majority of the manga depressed due to his love interest dating a guy she apparently doesn't even love. It's as if the whole point of the manga is the "chase" which goes nowhere. Hell even in the final chapter the love interest agrees to marry the other guy for idiotic beliefs. And no, the ending doesn't make up for the stupidity of the female lead or the journey and tribulations the protagonist faced. So if you get anything from this manga, it'll be to steal someone's girlfriend while having full confidence in yourself that you'll make her happy or something. (or you won't get anything but depressed)
But the artwork isn't so bad and the author clearly wanted readers to sympathize with the protagonist and made the story in such a way that they could really get a grip on readers emotions with it. So pretty strong with story telling but the story itself...yeah that's where the spoiler comes in. Giving it a 6 due to what was previously mentioned and like panos said, what character development??, if someone finds it let me know LOL JK!... Last updated on January 6th, 2011, 11:12pm
Character development in this shounen gets a big round zero.Shallow,indecisive,plain stupid,immature,dreamer and many more that will make you rage rather than enjoy the story.
Art average.Not bad but not sth exceptional either.I don't care much about artwork anyway so it wouldn't bother me even if it was worse.
Story,had potential in the beginning.But what can the story do alone since the characters in it are pathetic.
Not to mention that if the ending had taken a turn for the worse this would be practically considered ntr,and i mean the worst kind.As someone said,anything worse than a ntr is a stupid girl.She could become best friends with Aka from REC,they are both shallow.
Definitely sth more appropriate for younger audience...

wow, the artwork is ok, feels a little bit like Tokikake, but still better than a number of other mangas out there. But the story is AMAZING, knowing that the girl you like is going to end up with some other guy and you can''t do anything about it? I think Goutou Junpei just came up with the most original idea ever.
the artwork is so-so if not below average, there are lots of weird poses & drawing mistakes.

What would you do if you knew that the girl you love would end up with another man, if things continue the way they are now? Lets also asume you are the typical shounen protagonist that can't confess to said girl, even if your life would depend on it? Of course the obvious awnser is: You would go on a training arcs and thousands of them, all of whom would be totaly unrelated to the current plot, but still in close relation to the sub-category of the manga you are staring in (be that arts, cooking, sports, ... or like in this case photography) and by the power of plot-magic you would suddenly be capable of overcoming most of your problems afterwards, despite having worked on sports/arts/cooking instead of your shyness.
If you are bored of needing training-arcs to show character growth you might find this manga to be a little bit refreshing. To be more clear: The thing I find refreshing about this manga is that at least till chapter 5 there was no training arc but our protagonist does the unthinkable and tries to overcome his problems with the capacities/"powers" he already has. In this case its taking pictures that are supposed to "confess" indirectly for him, or at least tell the main-love interest that he is interested.

artwork is nice, story wise...i guess you could call it cliched (protagonist afraid to confess and blah blah). and the addition of a love rival is kinda pissing me off. this manga will be great if it only lasts for a few volumes cos i don't think i will be able to control my irritation any longer. i'll give it a 7 though, cos the art is good and the future-camera gimmick is pretty interesting
