as of chapter 37, vastly inferior to the prequel

Reasons for it being vastly inferior:
1:1 Miyabi copy that already gets converted in very few chapters
Onizuka'a crazyness no longer feels as funny as in part 1. Nothing so far was nearly as good as the average crazy stunts he pulled in part 1, not even to speak of the big ones. It's nearly only beating people up now.
props to: principal's dog, he's great.

Kind of it reminds me GTO anime were strayed off from manga and took trivial problems, escalated them to the size of elephant and then sorted them in a ridiculous way.
Character development is super fast not even close to GTO, were sometimes it took volumes for a kid to rehabilitate, while here it doesn't even take 3 pages to reform a suicidal girl back onto tracks.
Even disconcering the fact that it has super fast development, it's too predictable as well. Some stories seem to be directly copied from GTO.
Sure it's only a side story, but even side stories can be made into very decent stuff, while it doesn't even seem that Fujisawa Tohru has tried to invent smth original, but simply decided to live off from the fan hordes.

Things that make this series great:
Onizuka up to his old tricks + New Characters + New Setting
= New GTO saga = Possible New GTO Anime Series!
(then again they should have continued the original anime another 50 episodes...)
I just hope to god that this series lasts more than 14 chapters.
