Hard to tell if it was bad writing on the mangaka's part or if the scanlation was so bad but the first chapters were just all over the place. I found it hard to find a line through the whole plot, some substance... it seemed way shallow and like nothing really gets properly explained.

That randomness gets a bit better by the end of the first volume, however I still find the story rather shallow. It lacks impact and emotion - both things I'd expect given the things that happen.
It's not a terrible manga but it didn't do it for me.

At the beginning the plot annoyed me slightly because of the slave part but the plot evolved into something much more interesting and the romance started to kick in so I'm glad I continued to read on. There was a unique idea behind the story which made it entertaining but I had a problem figuring out who were the bad guys and who were the good guys and some of the characters looked so similar I got them mixed up. Overall though a good read.

This is completely different than any yaoi that I ever read (and I read a lot). A mix between sci-fi and cyberpunk with guys in long coats, action, suspense, betrayals and technology everywhere. Tateno Makoto art is definitely eye-candy and there are some hot scenes. Perfect, I loved it!

Unless you are into mythology this story will seem a bit complicated but i love that kind of stuff so i really enjoyed that part. Now do not expect much action on the yaoi scenes, just like the prequel is mostly packed with action.

hurrah for dystopian sci fi yaoi!

How refreshing- I love cyberpunk type stories and I love yaoi... it's great seeing the two brought together (and hey- it also gives the mangaka an excuse to put the characters in cool looking outfits that would look silly any other time). The sci fi part of the story is actually mild but this is probably a good thing- the Isis project, the science behind it and the reason it was created were... silly, at times. but still, I never lost interest in the *story*- I always had to know what happens next. If you know Tateno Makoto you should know what to expect in terms of artwork, characters, sex scenes etc. There is nothing new there but it's still well done. Ratri and Kai fans (from the prequel Aoi Hitsuji no Yume) will be happy to know the two have an important part in this story as well.
