It was so cute. I cried from the cuteness. No, really, I was actually disturbed by my visceral reaction to this book. The book just epitomizes young love for me; the doubt, the insecurity, the awkwardness, the miscommunication and misinterpretations, it was heart wrenching at times. You really can't help but project your own teenage experience onto the characters, and it makes you both love them and want to shake them for being so stupid!!

the most cliche yaoi noncon happens in which the uke says no but the seme keeps going. No matter how much I read (and know it happens frequently in yaoi land), it still bothers me. All in all, cliche but cute except for the noncon.

Usually I like stories that have a lot of physical action, but this was so sweet that I really loved it. You can really see the innocence of exploring first love in this novel and see how the characters express themselves because of their adolescence and the humor they bring to the story as they try to figure out thier own love predicaments.
A very simple, sweet story. I ended up reading it in one take, finishing at 4AM. 
I loved Izumi, and his constant worries and complaints. This is on the border between shounen-ai and yaoi, so if you're looking for some quick smut, this isn't for you.

Can you say cute! The story follows adorable Shotaro and his childhood best friend Makoto as they fall in love. It's very enjoyable because we get to see them rekindle their friendship and become more than what they once used to be..I loved the plot
Not my usual read, i generally prefer stories with older characters and more action, but this was quite adorable, a nice gentle read for a sunny day type Very cute the way the characters come together, and their personalities make a nice collage. Its a little slow in places, and its a rather simplistic story with no real hiccups along the way, so its not going to hold everyone interest. But, its sweet, its fluffy, its full of sparkles and warm feelings XD and it has some nice smut towards the end. So, it balances out pretty well.
