The story idea is interesting for me and it's also has good drawing , but it isn't well executed..
The chars are pretty lame, such as how they react totally like how chars in a cheap soap-opera.
If only the mangaka built the plot not too hasty, may be she could have pay more attention on the chars personality.

Well, we all know that bad stuff happens and that some how love conquers all but I have to say that it was super cheesy on so many levels. I did enjoy the art. However it was hard for me to connect with the characters.

I only read the first volume and dropped it. Not only did Shoujomagic a bad job in TL and/or page sorting (was all so messed up, I didn't get at all what it was all about in the first chapter [two of her friends looked pretty much alike too] -.-) but the manga itself is bad. Total unrealistic characters.
Creepy guy tells girl to come to a graveyard at 7 pm... and she does go... alone... ok~ayyy oO (weirdly nothing happened - wtf they let such a perfect situation for more clichés pass by...).
Guy with nasty images of her, threats to publish them (yeah sure, instead of hiding the crime he wants to make it public - he can go and knock on the next police station himself then too).

Well I didn't like the art either. And somehow half the staff had important scars.

tamahome~!!! tamahomee!!!... ... . . .. . . every page i turn in this manga i recall miaka calling helplessly and utterly irritably for tamahome. or in this case Chise for Kaoru. There is a borderline to drama, and this definitely crosses it. It is unbearably cliche, as other have pointed out, and the plot is predictable. I'm halfway through the first volume and she's already fainted three times. =.="
Why doesn't she just die the next time. Not my cuppa.

My update:
BLEURGH... can this even be considered shoujo? Too painful to read. Cliched to the max. Jebus, she's getting raped again. Disgusting. Not worthwhile AT ALL.

The story was alright. I read it because it was Miyasaka Kaho and I loved Kare Fire Love.
The story's not amazing or anything. I really liked Haneshima Misao.

hnn.. the description made me kind've hesitant, but it's deep at times.
Overall a heartwarming story.. I don't think there was anything that had a kink in it. It was a nice, smooth work, that would've made me stay up late at night lusting for what happens next, if I hadn't read it all at once.

I rather liked the manga, it was shoujo but it was different in its own way and i think that the mangaka work in this series was good... i found it easy to relate to.. probably more so then others. It has the sort of plot that alot of people turn away from but as a whole i think that it was worth my time

I don't really recommend this manga. The art is okay. But the characters, events, and plot were really cliched. I couldn't stand the girl at all. She's so needy, helpless, and insecure. I especially despised her in the later chapters. The only thing I liked was the way her hair grew throughout the manga. I was actually curious in the beginning, but the plot destroyed it. It's not as bad as many other shoujo, but I still couldn't stand it.

Get all the cliches that you usually see in a shojo manga and put them together in a terrible and lame drama form, and you'll get this one: the raped girl, the bad boy that is not that bad, the forgotten childhood friends thing, the adopted child thing, the ex-girlfriend, the guy who likes the girl too... And the list can go on...

Not recommended at all!
