some people are incredibly stupid, so please read the description - this is a tutorial. i think this is pretty good one, it is not the usual 'how to draw' it is more 'how to make the art into a story' type of thing. i wont rate this because i never read any other manga like this so I cant compare, and I also think it can be used for a very long time until someone is a professional, so have very high readibility.

I gave it a 10, because it did what it was suppose to actually do, which is tell others how to become a mangaka.
And she added some characters to make it more interesting.

I've noted many people commenting about the STORY (not here thankfully!), and I'd like to point out that this manga isn't meant to be a story! It's a tutorial for making manga for anyone interested, to make it a little more interesting though the mangaka put characters (with a bit of a story as to why they were talking about this stuff) explaining the different lessons about creating manga. Do not treat this like a story, it is not one! If you want to read a story, don't read this manga, and don't critique the manga as if it is a story!

Now that that's out of the way! This manga is a pretty good guide about the art of making manga, simple but yet informative and taught in an interesting way that helps one keep his attention. A good read for anyone interested in making manga or dojinshi.

it has good demonstration & details on how to do something with plot, characters, angles, tools, and themes.
She happened to add a little romance & a story to it, so it kind of makes it more cute.
I liked it.
For those who thought it would be just a romance manga : you rated it low because you were dumb enough to read it to the end when you didn't like it because it was a how-to-draw-manga? LOL. On the discription, it says it is a how-to-draw-manga CLEARLY. Duhh. c:

well i thought it was romance and comedy, but its more like an informative manga with tips on how to become a mangaka which im not interested in. also, sebastian as a name for the butler? gosh, just how original can they get.. -.-

There's not much story in this manga. It's more of a tutorial on how to make a manga. I'm no manga artist & have no intentions of becoming one, so I find this boring. There's barely any romance, if at all (you'd have to squint really hard to find any hints of romance in this manga). Most of the conversations and interactions between Reika & her butler center around manga-making methods & technical jargons.

This manga is good for the would be mangaka or doujin-artists out there, but for the rest of us who are only in it for the story, it's incredibly boring.

This is basically a how-to manual in manga form. It tells you what material manga artists use and how to create certain effects with screen tones and other handy dandy tools.

There are just too many things to go over thoroughly, so don't expect a step-by-step manual. It's more like an overview.

There are only two characters in this: the ojousama + her butler. There really isn't much of a story involved.

That being said, it was pretty enjoyable to read. This isn't for people who aren't interested in art or manga-making though (I think those are the people who gave this manga a 1/10). Like I said, there is no particular story involved..it's just an instructional manga with cute artwork and some helpful tips on manga-making.

Though I must say, there is only so much you can depict with words and pictures. If you really want to learn how to draw manga, it'd be best to watch and learn, and practice and experience.

So....7/10.
