An alien armada from Jupiter has amassed enough power to destroy all of Earth's defences. Earth's final hope lies in the Space Battleship Nadesico, a ship created using recently discovered extraterrestrial technology. Can the Nadesico's rag-tag crew overcome their idiosyncrasies and defeat the alien fleet, or will Earth's last hope be lost?
The art is pretty good, though it's style isn't my taste, but the story is pretty cheesy. It doesn't blend the comedy and action well together at all. Also, the pace of manga is too fast in my opinion. For example, it has this interesting character introduced early in the manga, but the manga removes him so quick that there was no time to get attached to him.
