Description
From Viz:

Sudou Mikuzu has a very special talent--she can see ghosts. And because of this predisposition, she's become a magnet for all sorts of unwelcome monsters. Luckily for her she's just met Seto, a friendly, cross-dressing young exorcist. Sudou needs protection from all the creepy phantoms bugging her, and Seto needs to practice his exorcism skills. Consequently, the pair decides to team up and help each other. In return, Sudou promises to bake a cake every time a ghost gets zapped!

The mangaka notes at the end that she didn't get to do everything she wanted to with the story, and it shows. It feels unfinished, though the story is complete "enough" for the 1 volume I suppose. The art is decent, but you don't get a very good feel for the characters. I get the feeling that the heroine would've gotten on my nerves if it had been any longer, though.

I was reading a preview, and was wondering why this wasn't more popular and why I hadn't heard of it before... but now I know, because it DOES leave so much unanswered! SOOO annoying! But it is pretty cute, I liked all the characters. Even if it was rushed.

What I wanted to happen and what I thought it was leading to:

mikuzu trades in her body to save "Seto - the boy" (lol) from giving up his life, and the sister takes her body, but then... I didn't get much further than that, but I thought that was what was going to happen. That would be awesome, especially after everyone develops stronger feelings. But it just... ended.... without solving anything...


I agree with Liria though, the main girl Mikuzu would have probably gotten incredibly annoying if I read anymore about her..

This manga was ok for a oneshot. The characters were interesting, but not developed to what they could have been - which is hard with a oneshot. The female lead was a little weak and whiny for my taste. The ending was rushed, and a lot was left unresolved. It ended like a set up for another volume. The mangaka did write in her notes that she wasn't able to take the story where she wanted it. This means some editor gave her page limits and maybe some other constraints. Too bad. Many potentially good manga have been ruined this way. The art was decent in it, though not the best. It was far better than a few I've come across though.

Feels like a practice swing or smthn... I wonder why it wasn't continued though. Pretty nice art and good story... I don't understand why anybody there suggested continuing it sad

It was a good read (I'm a Kagari fangirl forever!) But the end's not a good one. I mean, it was a great final arc, but leaves too many questions!

Anyone who's read Satoru Takamiya's full library would know to appreciate this short fantasy story for what it is and not accuse it of being too short or not enough. 1 volume series are his specialty, but that being said, this is one of the weaker ones and it's a shame it's the only one available in the US.

I WAS TOTALLY INTO SETO AND KAGAMI BEING A COUPLE!!! Like that could've been perfect yaoi right there since he looked like Kagami's first love. other than that, I wanted to know setos name and see him turn into a mana again.

It's nice but it was incomplete..... there is no closure to it... I love the art the plot and the characters I just wish that I would have been better if there was closure to the mysteries of the story well it's finished so it is..... but it was a good read

Never read a oneshot manga before, so i decided to buy Heaven's Will. I agree with Liria that this manga is too short and maybe could have been better if it continued.
