There were small little plot-lines hidden inside this work that I enjoyed, however, much of the story was so freaking boring and tedious. It took so many pages to tell such small little stories. I wanted to like it more but the boredom was hard to get through.

I was kind of expecting something above average because of all the recommendations but it wasn't all that good as people make it out to be at all. The only thing capturing you was the plot. The plot was interesting. The characters were typical except the one in the shadows of course.
I don't know why but at first, there seemed to be like 5 main characters and it takes like a volume to talk about one. Once you get settled in with the character and want to know what happens next to that character, they kept switching it. That was really frustrating.
Then, towards the end you realize that the 4 characters they spent so much time developing were barely important. Or at least.. a waste of time.
It wasn't written too well either, most things were confusing and everything you question and wonder about just came bursting all at once causing it to feel rushed. I noticed there was barely any explaining of anything. Like all the characters just questioned it at first then simply accepted the fact that they got supernatural powers and never got to any real scientific explanation of any sort or any attempt at all.
The ending was typical and not good, very rushed as the manhwaka admitted.

i was pumped up for this webtoon since i heard from alot of people that it's Awesome and blah blah blah

but after completing it i find it to be pretty dull and average at best, Characterisation is OK but i did not find that connection to it like the other webtoon or manhwas

Don't waste your time on this, read Sun Ken rock or Breaker like manhwas/webtoon they are more rewarding than this

and tho i liked beggarman's character development ok, most of the remainder failed to reach me. i stalled in the middle of volume three because i haaate on rose. the rage-a-hol girl from volume one missed, too, but rose is heinous. and her story went on and on. whatever glorious things happen after rose finally gets exorcised, there's too much brain pain to get there. it's like a first story from a probably decent, future writer.

I didn't like this manwha much, on any front. The art looked sketchy despite the colouring and the character designs were either exaggerated in certain ways that made them feel shonen in an otherwise very serious manwha or, in other cases, just made them look strange - particularly the eyes were made to be stark but came across as empty to me, and annoying. I didn't feel that the faces had much emotion either. In fact, I would say that overall, emotion and feelings of the characters was portrayed very weakly. The manwhaga had a lot of emotional moments, but they never really touched me. In addition, the emotions he constantly tried to portray always seemed the same to me: anger, apathy, grief and the occasional 'embarrassment' with a very evident blushing happening repetitively, which was funny but repetitive and not necessary. The backgrounds were also sketchy and there was no particular time that I really thought the panels were beautiful.

Maybe this is just to go with the story he is portraying, and in that case, the art did get the message across. I feel obligated to make some comparisons, since there are other manga/manwha which deal with similar themes in much better ways, with better art:
Orange Marmalade, which deals with 'monsters hidden in society' topic from a cute, slice-of-life side,
Shingeki no Kyojin which deals with the anti-human threat and the monstrosity of protectors, much better.
Monster, which deals with human psychology, modern society and similar superpowers with a similar atmosphere.

If I were to recommend this, it is purely on the response of other people who appear to have come across something I missed...

If you love a good story, Trace should definitely be in your reading list.
The art is unique and absolutely well done; the characters are each uniquely wonderful and oddly refreshing.
Trace has a original story that is both kick ass and heart wrenching, it is so good that I guarantee you will spend the entire day finishing it. You might think, 'oh another story where some people have powers' well the thing is that these powers are pretty damn unique. Not just your typical, 'I can fly' 'I can create fire!' 'I can read minds!' because that is pretty boring. Instead there's a whole array of different types of power each characters has and even some typical ones are portrayed in a different way. The romance in the story isn't laid thick but it fits perfectly and is very sweet. The action is great, there is a lot of great fighting scenes, that is neither hard to follow or badly drawn. Not just any simple panels of different 'poses' but you can see the actual movement in each panel and follow it easily. Seriously, this is one of the best fighting scenes I've seen in a long time and it's in color!
Like I said before, go check it out NOW!

Oh about the ending everyone is having a BF about, there's a sequel to this series SOOOOO... Enjoy~

The ending...

This manhwa was sooo good. Well.... the story until the ending, at least. At first I was kind of skeptical about reading this since the plot summary didn't seem all that interesting to me. However, once I started reading it, it was so gripping I had to stay up all night to finish it in one go. If not for the crappy ending, I would rate this an 8 or 9 for sure (point deduction because after the first episode of the story, my favorite characters were not really focused on). But the ending sucked and completely ruined it. The resolution was good, but the sequence leading up to it was pretty lame. It seemed forcibly 'epic' and suddenly was way too 'end of the world' like for me; it just seemed like I was reading a whole different comic. Sigh.

One of the most interesting, invigorating, exciting, well-thought-out, and thought-provoking series I've ever read. It's what got me hooked on web-comics and what I hold many other series up to. Definitely, definitely, definitely read this. Easily deserving of its award and should be on any manhwa reader's "must-read" list.

great materials and though i agree the cliche its still refreshing cause he put his style so it isn't boring as he has the skill to hold my interest. What i found wrong was the expansion of the story was too fast as it reach the end. Thus leave make thing should be answer, i know what was left to be a cliff hanger but all in all most character did not leave a deep impression.
