I have to disagree with TimeManinJail about this manga. It's not perfect but it isn't awful either. I'm not sure whether he bothered reading it or not, but I actually like how the plot is set up, as well as introducing a good cast and the direction it's going.

For something that is based on a video game, God Eater, for once, doesn't look like a typical battle manga (at least, I hope it isn't), plus the main character is rather cool and serious instead being those "usual" heroes seen in most shonen mangas these days.

Looking forward to see the rest of the chapters in the future.

I'm the occasional shounen reader and I loved it!
The plot and characters are interesting enough and I look forward to reading more.
The artwork's not bad either, albeit not as original. ;P
With only 3 chapters scanalated so far, it's already gotten me hooked. I just hope that the characters develop further as the story goes along.

this manga is so generic that it bores me. yeah, as emperor26 said, it is not awful. but to me, still this is so standard and stereotypical that makes me don't wanna to continue read it.
the story is just so-so, not excellent enough.
the battle scenes is quite good, but it is similar to the game so it doesn't only belong to the manga.



i must say, i'm not into an emo character.
PS: the characters in this manga is different to the game. even the setting is different. the setting in the game is Far East Branch (or Japan) and this manga in America.

the most stereotype ever... and whats worse it can even get a good story going with the stereotype.
Very boring dialogue bad representation and the only thing thats good is the picture drawn.. angle,emotion and creativity non existant
