for a short volume work.....this is pretty well done, with decent complexity(the good kind) and being simple(the good kind). You can really get attached to the 2 main characters. my only gripe was that while most of the ending was amazing(even if parts were predictable)....i just hate the fact that when ppl meet each other at complete end part..strt explaiing things after a time skip like theyve been away or not in contact with one another, when the group of people have been quite so been in high frequency contact....yes i understand its to help the reader understand wht happened....its just not my favourite mechanism... but other wise..short and sweet.....and also has a relatively high rereadability value
