And Yotsuba met these nice people next door and made friends to play with (one of 'em acted like one of those bad strangers Daddy told Yotsuba not to go with, but it was okay in the end). It's such a nice thing to read, you feel easy and calm , and Yotsuba is so cute! And the side character are awesome too, Yanda, Jambo, Dad (who is such a cute dad, does all kind of weird things with Yotsuba) and the neighbousr are awesome too. (And Danbo, Awww!)
One of the _very_ few manga I can't wait to read the next release of.
It's simply timeless and brilliant... and keeps being so even after 10 volumes of goodness.
Pure childlike innocence brought in a funny and natural way, something for all ages and many situations/escapades of the 5 year old should be recognisable by all.
This proofs a GREAT series doesn't require drama or needless violence.

Without being overdone, just believable and cute quirkiness.
Lack drama but it's actually a good thing, the only negative of this manga is the slow release.

There's nothing to add, this is one of the best mangas ever ! I took it up on a whim cause i was bored, and i was stuck on it from the first chapter up to the last published.
One thing i have to say : don't miss trying it. I don't thin you could possibly dislike it no metter what genres you usually read. It is too alien to be categorized, it is apart from the rest.

yotsuba never stops to amaze me, even while she is doing simple things, everything she did make me smile, so I hope you people who has't read this manga will give it a try, you'll get hooked, guaranteed!
So you read manga, at least you tell yourself you do, and haven't read Yotsubato! yet, well you do it now, no review can do this series justice, you be your own judge and read it, a must for any who have been reading manga for a while (or for the novice, it's a good ride either way).

I couldn't believe all the good ratings this manga has received. "How could a slice of life comedy be so good?!?" is what i asked myself. Then i read it and i must say you cant consider yourself a manga reader if you haven't read Yotsuba&! Seriously this is a MUST-READ!!! If i could i would give it 100/10!!!
So hilarious!!! I read the latest book of this series during finals week when I was up to the ceiling with balled-up stress and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made.
Every time I read this manga, my faith in humanity grows, despite all the tragic things that happen in this world. It really makes me feel like every human being is good at heart, which may seem childish, but maybe that's not so bad.
Basically, it makes me happy. heeheehee

This is some hilarious stuff. Every stuff has me cracking up like crazy.Theres some pretty funny manga out there, but this is one of those one where you just can't stop. Last time i read something as funny would be the Calvin and Hobbes series. Just plain hilarious.
Too cute... I have been nosebleeding all over the place since I started reading this. Really heartwarming and enjoyable. I definitely agree with someone else about how this is better than Azumanga Daioh if you try to match the art to the story/setting/ambience, but in general they are both top of the line slice-of-life mangas with different settings.
