It's so dark

Usually I can't stand this kind of dark and twister storyline but I can't stop reading now. I have to know how it will end! I just hope that someone will find some kind of happiness. If not.. well then I'm screwed.

too much drama on a heavy theme

i find this story really dark and sad. in my country, commiting suicide is not something that happens often and i can hardly see any valid reason to want to end your life voluntarily. there are people out there that have so many problems but still hang in there and do their best to cope with them, there are people with fatal diseases that are happy to live just one more day and i can't say that i can sympathise with these characters that waste their lifes away because they are broken-hearted and don't appreciate their own lifes.
but the story seems realistic enough and the art is nice. i'll keep reading this to see how this story will progress and hope for a happy ending(even though that's unlikely to happen)

Depressing and beautiful.

This series didn't catch my attention at first. High-school. An awkward glasses geek from the photography class. A cool and mysterious guy on the rooftop with a dark past.Seems like an overused plot that I want to skip (School-themed yaoi isn't my fave to begin with) . But since I subscribe to CRAFT for Takarai Rihito's series, I accidentally keep reading this series.

And whoa, the "overused"ness is only a door to something totally pitch black and depressing. If you're a masochist, read this because it'll hurt you A LOT. The intense expression, the serene movement, their hurtful dialogue - I also follow Rutile to read Acid Town, and IMO Sora wo Daite Oyasumi is more depressing than Acid Town.
Mainly because Acid Town shows hopes, way out and a will to survive. Sora wo Daite doesn't.

Personally I really don't see how this manga could end with a happy ending, neither with bad ending, because the worst has happened already (or so I think so far, who knows there'll be a twist). I'm afraid this is one of those series whose ending leaves you hanging, empty, thirsty, but strangely adore how beautiful it was.

OH GOD

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.

I love Kyuugou, dammit.

The lengths that Kei went to because of his deep possessive love, nngf. Moe.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Is it bad that I really liked the affair between Kei and the step father? Seriously, it was so sexy and for all the wrong reasons. (To drown himself in lust, to bury those feelings for Roku.) Slut!Kei is very tasty. In a "rotten" kind of way that only a fujoshi would enjoy. // U// Yay for male whoring and same-gendered incest! As long as they can't make screwed up babies, I don't care as long as it's beautiful.

Also, Yashiro's "Madden Suicide" was so gorgeous. Dark, but nonetheless.

Gah! I really want to read the next chapter~ ; A;
Oh whatever, I'll go drown myself in more Nakamura Asumiko angst. :X

Ah! Another unique and good-to-read series of Kyuugou-sensei. The story greatly emphasizes the bond between twins and that would make the story so deep that it makes me eager to see and read the next chapter. Though, it takes a long time to be updated, it's still worth waiting. Love it. smile

Japanese Movie

Does anyone know the japanese movie based on this series? Honestly, that movie was really in a world of its own. It's really surprising how a few edits here and there could make me realize that the movie was based on THIS manga when I was already 1/4ths through the movie. It was disappointing that the setting was changed to a University though. *sigh* I really love highschool. A university setting.. really is.. different.

A very moving storytelling. and I Absolutely love the drawings... but everyone does!
