Love it

Funny, Sexy and incredibly sweet. I really enjoyed the first couple. Both of them were really working hard to make their relationship work though sometimes the uke gets too worked up lol. One thing I'm sad about is Shin and Haruhiko, the second story couple. I really wish to see more of their story, I felt like I'll enjoy it. Anyway this is good and I recommend it.

he deserves more love. I like the side couple (ShinxHaru) more, but I recommend this series if you would want a fresh and somewhat naive love.

Sweet and Sexy

the thing I really liked about this story is that it managed to be very sweet while also being very sexy. I just thought the mangaka managed to make the main couple come off as so cute and adorable, even while
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the uke is telling the seme that he's okay if the seme keeps his girlfriend, and their relationship is only sexual
.

I agree with the other comments that we should've seen more of shin and haru. I really hope a spin-off is in the works. I think that would be my biggest complaint about the manga. The mangaka introduces us to two really interesting people, but keeps them in the background and doesn't develop their story enough

well, i count this as a HFN

i started out liking it, but then i got a bit annoyed as the story went on. well, "story"; there isn't really a plot, it's more slice-of-life. i didn't see much character growth, and in fact it felt to me like shinoda and ikeuchi's relationship got worse as time went on; mostly because shinoda turned from a kid who was courageous about his confession and could take care of himself into a doubting and second-guessing wretch, constantly angsting but not outright talking about issues. to me it looked like this relationship was disintegrating more and more, and i am not sure the last chapter did enough to banish that impression.

but that's a personal thing and i won't downrate the manga for it -- heck, some relationships go that way (i just don't want to read about them in my BL fantasies). it just made my reading less enjoyable. the manga is still well written and well illustrated; i love how konno captures expressions.

i would have also liked to see more of shin and haru; it seemed to me that i got to see more of shin's character than of anyone else's. though he doesn't have the most screen time, i liked him the best.

Things that bugged me...

(Maybe some spoilers) There were a few things that bugged me, its how more insecure Shinoda got the longer he was with Ikeuchi. i mean in the beginning he is a bit insecure but by the second volume he even considers selling himself to get better at sex for his boyfriend, its so pathetic. And he started out so cool, he was willing to push off a guy that was trying to seduce him, so that he would stay faithful to his lover. there weas something else that bugged me, Ikeuchi let a room full of men strip and change the clothes of Shinoda, wasn't he worried they'd do something to him? Also, what was the point of that scene where Shinoda accidentally gives a BJ to his friend thinking its his boyfriend? but i like how Shin handled it, any other guy would have allowed it to happen but he stopped Shinoda right away, that was really admirable. but those are just the things that bugged me. i like how the two main characters loved each other it was very sweet.

I absolutely adore this series. I think the characters are amazing and I really love that Konno-sensei is able to portray their love for eachother so strongly. This really is so cute that you will be anxiously awaiting the release of the next chapter ^.^ Definitely recommended

it's OK, i mean there is a TON of sex!!! it doesn't seem as though the plot gets very deep, because of the SEX! but i guess that's what you get (most of the time) when you read yaoi. though, crazy enough...i like it, it just doesn't have a substantial plot to be much more than a couple volumes...thank goodness that she didn't try to make it longer (i still would've read it though)!

This is such a romantic tale, i really love it....hell even the extras are great. It has a lot of funny parts but i wish we can read more about the other couple, perhaps a sequel? I think this one is the mangakas best work yet. Its only flaw is that i had to keep reminding myself the characters are teenagers, so the drama you build in your head tends to be bigger than reality, at that age. ^_^

I thought this story was okay, but it left me feeling kinda apathetic in the end. I don't know why. Maybe because the main characters, after getting together, spend so much time screwing and telling each other that they love each other that we don't really get to see how else they feel. I liked Shin-chan's story much more. He's flamboyant, funny, perceptive, openly gay, and has an unrequited love for his childhood friend, Minagawa, who keeps falling in love with the wrong people and getting his heart broken. I hope Konno-sensei will focus more on these two in the second volume, because I find the main characters wholly uninteresting.

I hate stories where one person is a sort of useless "damsel in distress" all the time and the other is a savior who does all the work in the relationship. It doesn't matter if it's a het romance or yaoi, I just am not into relationships that are so unequal. Having different strengths in life is one thing, but so often it seems that one person has strengths and the other has only weaknesses (both physically and mentally).

That said, this title won my heart when the tougher guy hears someone harassing his (apparently weaker) boyfriend... but before he can go be the hero, the other guy takes care of his own problem. I was pleasantly surprised, because frankly, in both yaoi and shoujo manga, you see a LOT of "oh so and so rescued me, my hero, let's get it on!" You shouldn't be screwing someone as a thank you (even if you like him) -- it should be because you like that person. (In my opinion.)

As a side note, I wasn't sure what to make of the sketchy josei-manga style artwork at first, but it quickly became a style I really like. I love her art, especially in later works where there aren't so many errors in proportion etc.
