Description
The Vampire Bund, a peaceful island nation of vampires off the coast of Tokyo, ruled by Princess Mina Tepes, has seen its share of conflict and turmoil. Yet there are times of relative tranquility when the Bund is a popular tourist destination.
When two teenage tourists visit the Bund and are unexpectedly turned into vampires, they appeal to Mina and her loyal lycanthrope bodyguard, Akira, for help. Their only hope is to find a cure to reverse their vampirism within forty eight hours, or they will be stuck as vampires forever.

Note: This is a sidestory and it HEAVILY assumes that you've read several volumes of the main series. If you haven't read the main series at all, go read something else because it'll read like a bad action story.
That said, if you HAVE read the main series, don't expect too much. The story attempts explore the criminal ties that inevitably forms between humans and vampires, but the story quickly turns into a silly scramble for the last few vials of vampirism cure.

A must read before a certain point in the main series, interesting characters and some good back story to things that have happen in the main series.
My only gripe (try to keep it spoiler free as possible) is that there is no follow up to a certain character in the 10.5 epilogue, which left an empty feeling in my stomach because I really liked that character.
