This couple is just simply adorable. Among their short conversations and interactions lies an ocean of emotions and sentiments. Love can be just as simple as a hug to recharge your battery when you're down or a soft brush on the cheeks in the winter cold.

I really like it all : the characters are cute, the story is nice and gives a peaceful feeling, the art is atypical maybe but not ugly, there is no cliché, it's just a regular, normal story between two boys that love each other.

Lately, I've been thinking I've grown out of this genre since I can't stomach all the BS you usually get in yaoi but then I gave this sweet little love story a chance. I'm so glad I found this series, it made me really happy.

i remember that i wanted to read Doukyuusei but i don't know why i procrastinated it for so long. After reading it i fall in love with this couple and Nakamura Asumiko's art, then reading Sotsugyousei was awesome because you get so see how their relationship develops and it's just beautiful. I'm sad that it finished but it'll have a really special place in my heart.

Absolutely must read. I'm sorry... I can't explain enough how beautiful this manga is. You must read it in order to know. All I can say is that this is one of the most beautiful (art and plot-wise) manga I've ever read.

I honestly can say this one made me smile like an idiot when I was reading it. All the characters have their great points. The problems in the story are different then in most shounen ai/ yaoi's and because of that it's like a fresh breeze coming through your window. Over all I recommend you giving this a try not only is the story cute and sweet the art style is really beautiful.

I really enjoyed reading it, and I didn't feel there was "fill" chapters or situations, but lovely details.

Anyway, the situations are not realistic, and maybe it feels that way because the story focuses on their relationship only and ignores everything else, friends (except for Tani), society, and well, family (we only meet Sajou's mother, who is fortunately accepting), all factors that have influence on any relationship. But... it's not like it is a requirement for a manga to be realistic.

What seemed very real for me though are the things inside their world, the feelings between them.

And, of course, I really do like her art.

is such a dork. i love him. he's the best character by far. kusakabe is a close second for being such a lovable idiot. sajou is pretty meh but whatever. the story is sweet, cutely funny, adorable, and well written. ugh, i want more.

Every character wrote so right , I personally love Hikaru's friend, he just weirdly funny and unusual without being stupid or annoying, so much fun lol
The only reason I didn't give it a ten is Rihito, I'm a big fan of calm character but he just so boring and unreasonable.

The whole series is one of the best yaoi stories, by all means. The story telling, slow but somehow just right pace, pairing, the tension between lovers, the odds they went through, awesome art, the background, complex plot and all the characters, everything is just amazing and makes you love the story.

I expected sth different knowing some other works of Nakamura sensei. I was surprised that she can actually make sth so bright, so light and pure but in the same time deep and meaningful. There's not much nudity, no dark past or messed up characters but it doesn't matter. It's entertaining and funny. Main characters are complete opposites - it sounds like a cliche, moreover there's more clished threads, like a student-teacher relationship and such, it could be a complete failure in someone else's hands but... how should I put this? she made amazingly good story based on simple threads. Sensei brought simplicity on a whole different level. It's definitely memorable.
The art is just perfect. Characters are overdrawn at times in order to strengthen a contrast between them or to better convey emotions.

One more time sensei proves outstanding talents so don't hesitate to pick up this tittle, it's definitely worth reading.
