Description
Sawai is handsome, cultured, and a talented violinist who is searching for his soul-mate. Karumi is a boisterous and energetic girl whose greatest desire is to play the drum during the local festival. When Sawai's grandmother has heart trouble, Karumi impresses Sawai with her energy--and wrestling ability! But the gap between their worlds may be too great even for a duet with violin and drum, for Sawai's mother has returned to Japan--and declares Sawai must go to Austria. The only way he can stay is for rough Karumi to make a good impression...

Hm. I enjoyed this one-shot a lot, actually! Yes, the pacing is weird for most readers used to contemporary manga, but it's more or less standard for the manga I've read from this time period. The characters are exaggerated but a lot of fun, with Saiwai's refined good taste (he seems like the iconic model for all of the rich, perfect shoujo-manga-guys to come) and Kurumi's tomboyish enthusiasm. The last page makes it a perfect ending. I think this is definitely worthwhile for anyone interested in the early roots of the now well-established shoujo manga genre.
OMG, I can't stop laughing!! XD Seriously, this oneshot is an exagerrated romance, very old school, but a good read! I won't be reading it again as it's a bit too exaggerated for me but I do recommend others to read it! XD
I've read many romances with couples who are opposites but this one is by far the most extreme! XD I would have liked it better if it was longer cause then the romance could have been drawn out more and the ending wouldn't feel so dramatic but it really was good.

This oneshot is one of the worst I've read so far. The pace of the story is too quick and the drawings are not that good either. As for the characters, each and every one of them are weird, especially the two main characters. I wouldn't want to revisit this oneshot in the near future or in the future for that matter.
